May 2018 Astrology Forecast Horoscope Predictions + Tarot For Each Zodiac Sign

May 2018 Monthly Horoscope & Astrology Forecast + Tarot Predictions, By Zodiac Sign
Zodiac, Self

Here's what's happening in the ENTIRE month of May 2018 for all zodiac signs!

In case you didn't realize it just yet, the energy drag you've been feeling this week isn't just you.

Uranus is preparing to change houses this month, and so there's that...

Your astrological energy is starting to unwind as the universe moves from the energy of a Full Moon in Scorpio where the Moon's energy is debilitated, and now you grow in your preparation for a fresh start, again while preparing for a New Moon in Taurus.

And, this month, the changes continue as you stroll through some dynamic changes the rest of May. From Uranus changing houses to synastry between your personal and major planets, there are fluxes in the astrological energy that's felt.

You remain in husky Taurus until nearly the last week of May. And for all zodiac signs, it's still a time to buckle down and get serious about your money and financial awareness.

Remember, the energy of Taurus is desires resistance, hence this star sign's association with being stubborn, so you too may become a bit stubborn about parting ways with your hard-earned possessions, cash, and grow an intolerance for less than what you deserve. As you should.

When Mercury transits from Aries to Taurus following the course of the Sun, you will be less apt to discuss what we want to do and simply just do it. Action-oriented living definitely comes after this feeling of want that starts to lift by the end of this week.

Here is your monthly horoscope reading + tarot card and power days for the entire month of May 2018 for all zodiac and star signs in astrology.

There are circumstances at work and you need to look around every once in a while to do an assessment of your life. It's always good to do that anyway.

During the Full Moon in Sagittarius, your 11th House is affected. This may mean that your friendship circle is starting to get a bit busier these days and there's less time to hang out like you used to do. To prepare, I've created a roadmap of the planets and their major movements through the zodiac Houses in astrology for the entire month. Here's what's happening in the universe that affects your monthly horoscope and zodiac sign and what this month's planetary changes are for May 2018:

(Note: These apply to everyone, however, if one of the planets is your planetary ruler it will have more of an effect on you.)

Monthly Transit and planetary changes for the month of May:

The Moon travels from Sagittarius through Aquarius:

While the Moon is in Sagittarius, it's no surprise if you felt like being at home rather than at work. Sagittarius feels a bit out of place when constrained. There's a bit of resolve when transiting Capricorn, and the understanding but that won't last for long as the Moon moves to Aquarius.

Aquarius rules the 11th House, where you turn to friendship and the scientific thinking. That can create an itch for nature, too. Perhaps it's the itch for summer fun that gets your heart-stirring, but work will seem like a bit of an inconvenience at first, and it's a call to look for some adventure outside with friends and family.

Set some boundaries for yourself and treasure the time that you have when not at work. When the Moon moves into the sign of Capricorn with the Sun in Taurus, you dig into the grindstone again. But, there's more than just your work that you dream about, and that's what you are reminded as the Moon wanes from Pisces into Aries and the spring zodiac signs during the last of this month.

You'll learn to value money and this will call more stuff into your life to practice managing. That may mean time management and work demand challenges, which quickly teaches that how money is earned it can take time away from our families (yes, Saturn is still in retrograde) and relationships come into clear perspective. What's a lot of money if you don't have your health, time with the people you love, and the comforts of home?

These thoughts rise to the surface during May as we are invited to give ourselves permission to do the things we love and with those that we care about most.

Until May 19th, the Sun is in the zodiac sign of Taurus:

Even though the Moon transits through the Earth signs, it is During this final stage of the Sun's transit through the 2nd House, we turn our attention towards what we have, and don't have, but would like to know how to get it. The Sun is the face that you show to the world, and of course, who doesn't want to look good for the summer? You definitely do.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, pleasure, and passion. So, only the finest things will do. From getting your hair done, perhaps going for a makeover or wanting to revamp your wardrobe, the desire for color and change is bound to come calling your name. (I know for me it is.)

Venus not only loves high fashion but this planet also loves to indulge in good food. You may be tempted to skip the diet a few times this month, so do so sensibly. Steak has fewer calories than cake! Remember that!

Also, Taurus is sociable, and so there may be some improved interest in spending time with family, going out to dinner with friends and mixing business with pleasure.

From happy hour to talk about work and some grilling outside while shooting the breeze, let your inner Taurus out, even if there's none of this Earthy star sign in your zodiac sign's chart. You don't want to miss out.

May 12th, Mars enters its pre-retrograde shadow:

Yes, even Mars goes retrograde from time to time, and when it does our motivations get another check. At this point, when pre-retrograde shadow begins we become aware of what is flawed in our thinking.

There's some emotional attachment to the idea that no longer serve us and we can become resistant to change. A retrograde shadow is a form of good grace on the part of the universe as we are slowing mentally and physically prepared for the work that needs to be done on a karmic and emotional level.

On May 13th, Mercury enters Taurus, the 2nd House ruled by Venus:

Gemini energy comes to a grinding halt as Mercury gets a tender lesson in taking time out to enjoy life rather than speeding and pass through. There's plenty to talk about and experience while in this placement.

For Gemini Moons, Suns, and Rising signs, this can be a tedious time where life takes on a bit more purpose and focus. You can use this intentionality to your advantage by scheduling power meetings before Mercury leaves the post-shadow from our prior retrograde season on May 3rd.

The lessons of the past, when things were left unsaid will come to a head and then you can resolve quickly with sensitivity and love. While in Taurus, Mercury tends to encourage more caution about what is said, and that includes learning to exercise bit more discretion, particularly around friends and families. (Something that we need after being in Aries for a full season.)

The Sun enters the 3rd House of Gemini on May 20th:

Our courageous side shines through with amazing colors as the Sun becomes comfortable in the 3rd House of the zodiac. As the Sun takes on the element of duality, we learn to see both sides of our personality in a new way.

The zodiac sign, Gemini has two faces. It is light and it is dark; it's what is and what is in the process of becoming. There can be some heated moments with others as the Sun flares while in an air sign, but this can be short lived once you've had a chance to process what's going on.

So, thinking time, and me-time is a must if you are going through any transitions at this time. And, when the Sun is in Gemini, there are transitions, but each is there to serve you and help you grow with wisdom and joy. Gemini loves joy!

RELATED: How Venus Moving Into Taurus On March 31st Will Deeply Affect Your Love Horoscope For This Entire Month

Until May 18th, Venus transits Gemini.

Then, on May 19th Venus leaves the 3rd House and begins to transit the 4th House of Cancer :

This is a time when we fine tune our need for pleasure by applying it to home instead of your career. Cancer zodiac signs are quite content to being home as opposed to always socializing for another happy hour, that may appeal to Taurus.

While Venus is in the 4th House, remember this is a time to spend with family. The closer the family member the better. Cancers love their families and when someone is in need, all you need to call.

So, don't be afraid to reach out to your friends and family if you've got a project you're working on and you need a little helping hand. This is the perfect time to ask. Just plan ahead, if you can.

May 15th New Moon in Taurus:

During the waning phase of the Moon's transition Scorpio into Taurus, you revive our energy again. The Moon is deflated while in Scorpio, which means that you turned inward for self-healing and evaluation, but while in Taurus, the Moon is exalted and the energy intensifies.

This is when the energy actually builds and the lessons learned during the time that you've spent in the 2nd House. This is the time to rest. To take inventory of your life, evaluate the lessons you've learned and the goals that you would like to set for the next month in order to grow with the waxing Moon.

May 15th, Uranus enters Taurus and remains there for 7 years:

Unpredictable, Uranus revisits Aries on November 6th, and then in March 2019, reenters Taurus for a full 7 years. Uranus is the planet that rules Aquarius, and while in the 2nd House, our thoughts about how to attain what we want out of life can change. We may look for non-traditional ways to gather wealth and how it is spent.

Some astrologers say that this may be the time when we start to see big changes in the real estate market with property values escalating and the stock market may continue to act unstable. Others say this might be when Bitcoin takes deeper root as a society will look for ways to use resources better. However, you slice it, there will be an evaluation of sorts as it relates to what you have tangibly in your possession.

May 16th, Mars enters Aquarius:

What do you get when Mars enters the 11th House? Glad you asked. There's a bit of intensity that fires up for all zodiac signs, and if you've wondered if that friend you sort of don't trust is true blue, you'll find out.

Mars has an intensity to it that when it enters any house of the zodiac, things begin to become challenged and changed. It's the function of Aries energy that is felt in the 11th House during this time period.

What is, doesn't have to be, and it must serve a purpose or it's a waste of time, will become much more common than it currently is while in Scorpio who prefers to slip things under the rug or unveil without a warning.

Saturn is retrograde in Capricorn:

Saturn will be retrograde until September 6, 2018. You are still to evaluate the past and project it into the present mode. It's a time when it can feel as though people are easily offended. This retrograde season can create problems while in the 10th House, in the area of career, family relationships, and friendships.

This is a time when a long-term relationship, a lifetime friendship can end abruptly over a silly argument. Depending on which house Saturn activates during this time, there can be modes of feeling challenged, provoked, and set up for an argument in the strangest more inconsequential way but it can feel like a big deal.

It's a time to lay low and not allow yourself to feel disturbed by unwelcomed drama. Instead, roll with it until Saturn goes back to forward motion.

May 29th: Full Moon in Sagittarius:

What we are gain during the Full Moon in Taurus, we are ready to let loose and become free from during the Full Moon in Sagittarius in order to express ourselves and feel uninhibited. The Full Moon in Sagittarius means that things become more meaningful when they have elements of freedom to it.

A Full Moon in Sagittarius invites more depth to spiritual awareness and learning. There may be some spiritual conflicts that come to the surface during this time, particularly, if there have been doubts or questions related to religion or spirituality matters.

On May 29th, Mercury joins the Sun in the 3rd House of Gemini:

When Mercury finds itself at home, again and finally, for Gemini. Mercury is a fast-paced and moving along energy. Gemini is the sign of ideas, communication, ruled by air, and is easily adaptable. Ideas take on really, rare forms during this time, and suddenly, things start to become clear.

Mercury is in control and feels settled. Things start to resonate from the inside out, and there's a sense of calm, peace and true knowledge of where you are, where you are going and where you want to go. Confidence goes up and error can go down.

Of course, the communication aspect of all zodiac signs is crisp, clear, fun, and truly innovative.

Jupiter is retrograde in Scorpio until July 10th:

Even when in retrograde, this planet is a good planet and it helps us to do the internal growth that's needed on a soul level. This is a time of continued rebirth. Remember, Scorpio is a deep zodiac sign and its energy is here for rebirth.

A planet that expands energy in the sign of Scorpio means that there's room for growth, and when you thought you had it all cleared out, there's even more transformation. The past can be released. What held you back can be released once and for all.

Then, on May 25th, Jupiter trines Neptune, and our dreams take shape. The obstacles of the past are slowed down and let go. You may see the things that brought you to a standstill that was untrue about your life. There's a chance to become reconnected with passion projects that you had dismissed or missed the boat on.
