Some might think that this is the Universe lending a hand to give each zodiac sign an opportunity to mentally prepare for the next year of good luck in love under the guidance of a Jupiter in Sagittarius transit.

For a full year, Venus will remain direct. In essence this revision is excellent news for love, relationships, property development, business. Not only will Venus remain direct but so will Mars during the entire year that Jupiter is home in Sagittarius.

Once a year, Venus makes her way through Scorpio for 30 days. And once every year and a half, she goes retrograde which means she literally reverses from Scorpio mid-transit back into Libra, turns direct and then goes back through Scorpio again.

In fact, you may have heard about retrograde season for lots of planets. Other than the Moon and the Sun, all planets have a retrograde period. However, only two planets truly go reverse and that's Pluto, the planet of transformation and radical change, and Venus, the planet of beauty, love, and the ruler of property and partnerships.

I like this concept in astrology. If Venus revises her walk and action steps, it makes sense that we human beings can do the same. Often, going back to a situation is wrought with emotions such a shame or guilt. There are circumstances when lovers can go back to the past and make things right, for the long haul.

A few Venus retrograde then direct moments can look like the couple who loves deeply, and decides to part as friends but later realizes that they can't do like without the other. So, they get back together again with therapy to dig deeper into their emotional blocks.

A Venus retrograde going direct into Scorpio can also be a person who devalues another person and chooses work, friendships or things that they imagine are what they need only to realize that s/he was wrong. Shallow emotions can come up to show their ugly faces when you're surrounded by a smiling crowd.

With Mercury retrograde also in Scorpio at this time, these time of emotional contracts can become intensely revisited. Sometimes the lies will show up and reveal ugly truths and for others the metaphorical sweeping of under the rug will have to be enough.

So, what does your astrology and horoscope have going on?

Here's your overall energy 3- tarot card reading for all zodiac signs to shine a little light on what to anticipate — collectively.

Self — Eight of Swords

The Eight of Swords is a revealing tarot card. It shows a woman bound and blinded up against a fence made of swords but the ropes that bind her are untied and the swords have their points in the ground. In essence, she thinks she's trapped and in danger but she's actually powerful and fully capable of breaking free. It's her mindset that is hold her back.

The Eight of Swords tarot card is an image of a person who has the power of choice but isn't aware that they do. This could be the way you feel sometimes when you think you are trapped or unable to move from where you are now to where you'd like to be. This tarot card is a call to take action that involves reclaiming your personal power, but it all starts with self-awareness.

Situation — Ten of Swords

The Ten of Swords tarot card is the reality that a person faces. Yes, there can be failures. Yes, there can be trouble, short comings and limitations present, but the emotions are greater than the truth which is it's not unmanageable. The problem is significantly less permanent that the person perceives.

How often do we all think things are worse than they really are? The best way to find out how tough you have it is to take a step back and view the problem from the outside. Sometimes waiting to see where things land is helpful, too.

From a personal standpoint, I, too have been excitable over something only to realize that it was my emotions that got me going more than the problem itself. After a few days, I will realize I really can handle what I'm facing and it makes me wonder what was I afraid of all along?

Challenges  — Five of Wands

The Five of Wands show a group of people all trying to get the same thing —  success or a goal. It's healthy competition at its finest. No one is blocking the other person. No one is fighting to get what they want. Yes, there is a spirit of competitiveness, but in the end, it's just the ordinary grind that happens when individuals are living life to the fullest.

You may have moments when you feel resources are limited. You might think the dating pool doesn't have enough eligible singles that meet your standards. You may feel that there isn't enough hours in the day to do it all and everyone wants a bite of your productive time.

The truth is that this is a normal part of the journey. You're not in a rut or doomed for failure. You are actually right where you are supposed to be. In the center of a productive struggle.

There is symbolism on each Tarot card and rune that's cast that you can use to provide insight to your Venus in Scorpio transit horoscope when things are unclear. Check out your zodiac sign  and tarot astrology predictions starting now through January 7th, 2019.

ARIES (March 21 - April 19)

Rune: Nauthiz

Tarot card: The Star

Aries, sometimes restricting your movements is a necessary evil because it's through the process of restraint that you see what your needs are. There can be delays and love can feel like a road full of u-turns and change.

During this time you can find your dark side out. Everyone has a shadow side. That side of you can affect your relationships. The average person has at least one shadow side that needs to be reigned back in. It could be complaining or a habit of losing a temper or saying nothing when you should speak up. These things can keep you from living transparently with those you love.

You can find a new way to live and it comes from watching others. When you observe the behavior of others around you, you can use it to your advantage. It may not be easy, but as the Star tarot card indicates, your spirit guides are there to help.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

Rune: Unknowable, Odin

Tarot card: The Empress

Taurus, you can't always know exactly what the future will bring. You can try to clarify or confirm what you think and feel, but sometimes it still will take time to figure out what it is that's going on.

You may have to move in some direction to get the momentum going. A leap of faith is what's needed and things will unfold on their own. You will need to see the miracle as it begins.

Intuition and providence function in contradictory ways. Your mind may say you need to feel secure or have something concrete to fall on and yet, your heart sends a conflicting signal. This can be a time when you have to test faith and see how it works in your life.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)

Rune: Thurisa

Tarot card: Wheel of Fortune

Gemini, when you are reading THURISA it's best to spend time examining your life. Reviewing the journey is a good practice. Some people take out their journals and read from the year before. Others study their history by looking at photos and it helps you to see how far you've come.

What you were thinking too. You may not recognize yourself now compared to back when. You may laugh at how fearful you were before and how brave you've grown, or vice versa.

In times of difficulty, The Wheel of Fortune is a positive sign that what goes up will also come down and what is down will go back up. The world has cyclical motion. Trust your current transit and realize as long as you choose to do right, you can't go wrong.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)

Rune: Wunjo

Tarot card: The Fool

Cancer, with WUNJO, you can feel the light starting to shine through and the relief is felt. You can feel more alive and as though the stress of something is going to pass soon and you aren't caught up in the negative emotions that had held you down in the past.

When you find yourself returned to a happy space, don't be too quick to forget what you went through. It's extremely important to remember the negative even when it's not where you are any longer.

It has no physical meaning for your current moment but it helps you to understand what to avoid in the future. For this reason, negative experiences have a positive benefit for you because it reminds you the cost you paid for joy.

LEO (July 23 - August 22)

Rune: Inguz

Tarot card: The Hermit

Leo, no man is an island but the way to community is by sharing your wisdom, talents and time with others. You may feel that your heart grows and expands when you are in a giving state. With INGUZ, the desire to be part of something greater than yourself is a real need, not just a want.

It's time to break out of your shell. With the Hermit tarot card you may have needed some time to gather your thoughts and feel the pain you needed to process. When your mind is clear and you are sure about what you think and feel, you can give from a deep well that won't run dry.

VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)

Rune: Algiz

Tarot card: The World

Virgo, good things come your way. With ALGIZ, nothing good comes without some type of negative following along. It's often a distraction to test your ability to focus on the truth.

Life can present things to you in threes and you have to make a choice that's ideal for you. These opportunities are golden, but only one is perfect for this time.

Thinking that you have limited potential is a mindset to change. The World tarot card is like your capacity for new beginnings, endless. Each day is a new beginning. Remember that.

Libra, wanting something for a long time can make the receiving of it taste more than sweet. Prepare for a fulfilling time that's both sensual and mentally rewarding. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

Rune: Nauthiz

Tarot card: The Hierophant

Scorpio, deep down in side you already know the parts of you that are less than perfect and reminders from others aren't necessarily productive. In fact, it can be counter productive at best. So, when you see the NAUTHIZ as your rune for the moment, it's a reminder that there is always work to do and the first place to start isn't by trying to change others. No, it's trying to improve yourself.

Following the crowd may be an outdated practice. The Hierophant tarot card is a reminder that others may not be willing to go the extra mile; not for you or for themselves. So, when you change and start picking apart those flaws, you may also find those friends you outgrow start to find new things to do with their lives and it might not include you.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)

Rune: Mannaz

Tarot card: The Emperor

Sagittarius, being a stand up person means you have to confident enough that when someone says something good or bad it doesn't affect you either way. Of course, compliments are always welcomed, but the way you feel self-esteem wise soon won't depend on them.

With MANNAZ, you need to feel this level of confidence as you break through a glass ceiling or two in your career. With the Emperor tarot card, this level of inner strength and determination will give you a vibe that attracts other strong people to you, and one of them may be a soulmate.

CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)

Rune: Isa

Tarot card: The High Priestess

Capricorn, learning to stand still, as the rune ISA implies can take time, practice and sometimes failure. You may have a tendency to push for what you want only to discover you expended a lot of energy but came up with nothing to show for your time. ISA lets you know that patience isn't just a virtue, it's a way of life. You sometimes just need to wait and there's no angle to adjust. A situation takes time to change.

So, when you feel that you are alone, remember that your friends and associates have supportive information you need. Everyone is born with a specific task.

AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)

Rune: Perth

Tarot card: The Lovers

Aquarius, the process of growth first comes by awareness and an action step that follows. PERTH is the step of initiation from one role into another. You may not be where you are now, and the truth is you don't necessarily want to be.

A choice has to be made. The Lovers tarot card lets you see how important these choices can be. Choosing from the heart or taking what's familiar are both before you. Which one do you want?

PISCES (February 19 - March 20)

Rune: Inguz

Tarot card: The Moon

Pisces, learning new things and exploring life and all its meaning can be tiring and create a desire to hibernate instead of going out and giving it your all. Your rest period is necessary but you may also find that as soon as you're rested up, it still feels like a slow process to gt moving in the right direction again.

Listen to your body and pay attention to its cues. Giving birth to love takes time. Care and concern are truly invaluable. The more you honor your emotions, the stronger you become and the more meaningful your next experience will be because you were ready.
