getty As a lover of crime shows and all things mysterious, the first thing that pops into my head when the word stalker comes up is creepy.
We all imagine stalkers to be sneaking through alleyways and climbing fire escapes just to catch a glimpse of someone. Or, we imagine someone dangerous with a sinister plan. Perhaps maybe even someone with an unhealthy fascination.
But what most people don't realize that some people who have a crush or admiration for someone can be a bit of a stalker too. No evil plan or unusual desires, but maybe just a plain old schoolyard crush.
There was a time in college where I knew when my crush had a class at a certain time. My best friend was actually crushing on his bestie, too. We would casually sit outside the classroom building with our Starbucks cups in hand waiting for them.
When they would finally walk to class we would always fix our hair and smooth our clothing. Then, we'd just give the most casual and carefree wave when they walked by. This went on for a whole semester.
Creepy? No more just an adrenaline rush in the crush department. A little stalkerish? Oh, yeah.
There are people that seem to have stalkerish tendencies. They can get attached easily or just simply admire others from a distance... all the time.

1. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios love — and love hard. When a Scorpio becomes infatuated with someone, they will have the highest chance of becoming a stalker.
They are possessive and very protective of the people they care about. They will do anything and everything to be there for their loved one.
Being so passionate can make them not think clearly, so they can come on strong. Maybe even a little intense. But their intentions are always from a deep admiration, and all they want is to show the person they love just how much they truly love them.
2. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus are stubborn and do not budge. When they want someone, they want them. And they do not plan on giving up until they have tried everything to get them. This can come off as stalkerish.
Taurus will not want anyone or anything else, and think only about what they desire. When a Taurus does finally get the person they want, they back off and aren't that controlling. But the stages of getting there are classic stalker.
3. Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers have deep emotional connections with people. They feel these connections so strongly, even if the other person doesn't. This tends to have them act a little more irrationally and stalker-like.
They find nothing more important than their relationships. They treat them as first priority. This surely can cause them to be a stalker. Mainly because those certain people are just always on their mind.
4. Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are stalker-like when they become fascinated with someone. They see the world as a work of art. They love to admire the beauty in all that there is.
This will drive them to be a little more obsessive because they are so enthralled by a person. They do not even realize that they become a stalker. To Pisces, they are just admiring beautiful works of art from afar.
5. Aries (March 21- April 19)
Aries are passionate and straightforward. This tends to be stalkerish because they are not afraid to hold back.
They believe that being honest is the best way to go. So, if they feel obsessed with you, they are not afraid to show it.
With their passionate and dynamic personalities, this does come off as clingy. Aries like to be in charge but are not necessarily control freaks. They like making moves but in an admiring and not pushy way.
6. Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are lovers. They love to love! With the need to never feel alone, this can become a little stalker-like.
They simply just want company most of the time. And if they like your company, they will keep asking for your company. Over and over.
To them, the people they love are their life buddies. They do not want to be possessive, but do want to be bonded. Libras are just looking for close relationships to experience every day with.
7. Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are not huge stalkers. They do become a little possessive and controlling. But that has more to do with themselves and not other people.
They do not want anyone to hold them back from anything. However, they always want to get what they desire.
If that is a person, they will go full speed ahead. To them, they deserve to have someone they are completely fascinated with. They will try as hard as they can to get the object of their eye.
8. Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis are not the best at making final decisions. They want to keep their options open and do not want to make the wrong choice. This can make them unsure of what they really want.
They will not become stalkerish until they are completely sure of what they want. But even then, they seem to take their time.
Geminis are intense at times but this is a way to balance their moods out. If they do become stalker-like, it won't be for long.
9. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are not very stalkerish. They are disciplined. They have a good idea about what and who they want in life.
They will work hard to get it but not in a forceful way. They have enough self-control to be able to hold back.
When they feel they are coming on strongly, they will dial it back. To them, control is essential in their life and being a bit of a stalker is out of control. They will not like the feeling of that for too long.
10. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos do not typically become stalkers. They do not really want that commitment.
They are already cautious and guarded, so the idea of fighting for someone just does not appeal to them. They are normally the ones that run in the opposite direction of commitments.
When Virgos do become enthralled with others, it's more of a fun game just for them. They do not act on anything, it's simply not in their nature.
11. Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius are freedom-lovers. They hate the idea of being caged in. Fascination with someone will certainly cage their minds in.
They would much rather be their own person. They want their mind occupied by their own thoughts and feelings and not around another person.
Sagittarius do not want to be too enthralled with anyone. To them, the fun in life is the mystery of it.
12. Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius are the opposite of stalkers. They do not want all that emotional baggage around them. They will go the other direction. They will not chase after anyone if it takes too much time and effort.
Stalking does seem to take up their precious time. They do not want to get emotionally attached. If they do find someone they like a lot, they try to approach it as rationally as they can and not come on too strong.
