It might just be all about entertainment, or it might be all about feeding a need to analyze. How did they do it? How did they get away with it? What makes a person commit murder?
"Murderino" is a pop culture phrase, born out of the My Favorite Murder podcast, which brought this obsessive love to the surface. Definition: Murderino. Noun. Person with a borderline obsessive interest in true crime, and the specific nature and details of disturbing murders.
As with all interests, we look to astrology as a guide. So, who are the zodiac signs fascinated by murder and true crime?
Being interested in murder cases has nothing to do with being a murderer. It's more along the lines of being a secret forensic scientist, in the mind. The details chill, horrify, thrill, but in the long run, it's really about entertainment. And what could be more entertaining than exploring a gruesome and grizzly murder scene, knowing it's an actual true story?
This kind of obsession is a stand-alone fad; it doesn't belong to goths or people who wear only black. It's not about practicing up for the big day when the murderino does a killing. No, this is about pure, raw interest in something so awful that one simply cannot look away.
There are no requirements to be a murderino, there's only an obsessive interest in murder and murderers. That's all, which means you can be a murderino too.
1. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Not only is Aries interested, they've got their special slot set aside for time alone with a murder case. They already have all their books set aside, their podcasts set up for optimum listening, and they know they'll need some contemplation time afterwards. You know, for solving these cases.
Aries has always been a closet private investigator and murderino. They relish the details and thrill to the amount of gore. They hold an oddly ironic admiration for those who get away with murder.
2. Leo (July 23 - August 22)
There is a very intense attraction with murder for Leo, and it relates to their love of the spotlight. Murderers attract attention; whether they are caught or not, if there is a murder, then everyone knows about it.
Leo is especially attracted to things that get famous, and they like to associate themselves in this manner as well. For instance, Leo will foist themselves to the top of the heap. they will be "the number one murderino," sort of like being the number one fan.
They own the arena, in their heads, and that's how their fascination with murder and mayhem manifests. They're never just "into it" — they are the absolute expert on the topic. All, or nothing at all.
3. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
One of the reasons Capricorns make the best murderinos is because they are so very, very detail-oriented. While we all know they are the hardest working sign, we also know that they like to structure their down time according to what gives them the most pleasure, and, in some cases, the biggest thrill is to watch a murder case evolve, or to see a murderer up on public trial.
There is no admiration or secret desire to murder someone here; it's all about how it all goes down, from top to bottom. Murder, if done correctly, which means someone dies and the murderer gets away with it, is of utmost fascination to Capricorn. They adore work ethic, and something like the life of a serial killer must come with order and discipline. Capricorn cannot resist order, routine, discipline... and nastiness.
4. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos tend to like reality TV and true crime stories a lot. They are less inclined to fictional tales of murder and woe, and more into the idea that something like this could and does happen.
Virgo needs distraction; they're so uptight and wound up that they have to throw themselves into something that requires a metal challenge and a good, fair look. Murderers and their stories lure them in, and Virgo likes to spend night after night indulging in someone else's incredibly horrible life.

Ask Libra a question about serial killers and they will give you an epic dissertation. They know it all, including dates of the murders and names of victims. Libra, the collector, is also known to bid on items used by murderers, especially the ones who became famous for their heinous crimes.
While fascinated by weapons and torture, Libra is equally as fascinated by the people who use these objects, and they'll pay big money for them as well. If Jeffery Dahmer's "estate of gore" was on eBay, it would be a Libra who would bid the highest price.
6. Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
If there is a reason for Gemini to be as obsessed as they are with murder and the likes, it's because they are taking notes. The majority of murderers are Gemini, which is a truly scary thing.
Good ol' quiet, non-communicative Gemini will study a murder scene a little too closely, enough to make one wonder about their mental state. In truth, if they stay murderinos, we're lucky, because if anyone is going to graduate to full blown murderer, it's Gemini.
