Cash or credit?
If you want to stress someone out, start talking about money. No matter how financially secure you are, you probably still get worried about your finances from time to time.
Money is a hot-button issue for most of us. Relationships have ended, wars have been fought, and lives have crumbled all because of money. We spend hours earning, saving, spending, thinking, and in some cases, dreaming of money.
When you don’t have it, getting it becomes your primary goal, and when you do have it, you work to get more of it or hang on to what you have. We need money to pay our bills, buy the things we need, and to put away for the future: our children’s college, retirement, and dream vacations.
Most of us don’t get to the point where we no longer have to worry about money because it never feels like enough.
Everybody loves a good discount, coupon, or deal. I worked for an extremely wealthy woman and she bought in bulk all the time. She may have paid over 100 dollars for candles but she wasn’t above shopping at the dollar store. She was careful with her money because she knew you can’t predict the future and it’s always a good idea to be ready for any emergency or disaster that can hit.
Some people are frugal, watching every penny, while others adopt more of a "YOLO" approach to their money and spend, spend, spend. They have the newest phone, fanciest car, and their clothes, shoes, and jewelry are on point.
When you add in all the money it costs to maintain your house and your appearance with hair styling, mani/pedis, and massages, it’s easy to go through a lot of money very quickly.
Aries can be somewhat unpredictable when it comes to money. You'll be careful and save it one minute, and then the next you're investing it in some high-risk investment or you'll go on a wild spending spree. You're confident in your own earning ability and you're no stranger when it comes to taking a chance. You'll enjoy it when your stock pays off, and you'll make sure to spend some of it on a triathlon in Hawaii or a hike in the Australian outback.
You have a serious love affair with the finer things in life, Taurus, and you enjoy indulging yourself whenever possible. In other words, you can be a spendthrift and it can be challenging for you to save money. Hopefully, that rainy day will never come and you can continue the luxuries you gift yourself. Sure, you live paycheck to paycheck but what a comfortable and beautiful life it is.
Like Aries, Geminis have some risky behaviors when it comes to money, but Aries aren't the sign that's most associated with gambling — that's you, dear Gemini. While you love the stock market, you also love card rooms, casinos, and online betting. Not all Geminis are gamblers; some (there's that two-sided personality thing again) are practical with their money, but when they're not being good, Geminis can be very bad.
You enjoy travel but you need a place to come home to, Cancer. You're very reasonable when it comes to money. You'll save for the big-ticket items that you want but you always make sure you have something in the bank. You like to buy property and you make sure you get the best mortgage rate. If you inherit any money, you'll invest it and forget about it until you absolutely need it.
You're very generous with your money — you give wonderful gifts to your friends and family and you're also generous to charity. Leos are often entrepreneurs and financial leaders, and it must be because you're so skilled in your ability to budget, save, search for bargains, and the way you spend. You do it all so well and look amazing while doing it.
Virgo, you have no problem researching who has the best price on an item you're looking to buy and getting any kind of discount you can. You're one of those people who is very knowledgeable on how to get the most for your dollar, which can end up not only paying practically nothing but getting money back. You're not one for impulse buying, but you'll scrimp and save until you get the best deal.
You do like to treat yourself and the people you lose from time to time, but you always like to have some money in the bank. You'll spare no expense when you're throwing a party or traveling but if it comes down to savings or an expensive meal, you'd rather wait until you've got some spare cash. You view financial opportunities with caution as Libra never wants to be without a monetary safety net.
When it comes to money, like many things, Scorpios like to be in control and they ask a lot of questions. You're kind of a financial genius as you know the right questions to ask such as "Where is my money going?" "How can I afford this?" "What options come with this purchase" and "How can I get it for less?" You do the research, trust your intuitions and it pays off for you.
Generally, you're good with money. You have no problem working hard and putting away money for a travel fund. However, you do have a reckless and overly optimistic side, Sagittarius, and you can make hasty and ill-advised spending decisions. It's probably not a good idea to quit your job and go backpacking in Europe when you have no financial cushion whatsoever.
Capricorns are almost always set financially — it's part of your personality to be hard-working and to have a financial foundation. You don't enjoy being strapped for cash. You're the type of person that, if you won the lottery, you wouldn't quit your job because you love your career. Besides, you can never have too much money.
Aquarius like change and are always looking for new ways to save money, even if it's a dime here and there. You're not stingy with your money and often give to charities. Aquarians are known as visionaries and entrepreneurs. You like being the boss of the company you created and you're creative enough to develop your own products and services.
Pisces, you're good at getting cash and you're good at spending cash. Money is much like a stream for you as it ebbs and flows. You're better at the creative side of finances — earning revenue from your creative endeavors, not planning for the future. Having a financial advisor would help you control your spending impulses.
