Responsibilities:
- Developing creative and efficient methods to drive traffic and engagement on YourTango.com and partner sites
- Analyzing metrics and proposing/executing strategies to further develop YourTango’s core audience

The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- 5 or more years of digital experience, preferably with a media property

- Outstanding Excel skills

Digital Advertising Sales Director
YourTango, a rapidly growing digital property focused on love and relationships, is looking for a New York-based super star to assume the role of Director, Digital Ad Sales. YourTango targets women 21 to 54; reaches over 1.8mm uvpm and has assembled a vertical ad network that extends our reach to over 3.5mm uvpm.
Ideally the person who assumes this role:
• is excited to play a pivotal role in a young, rapidly growing digital property;
• has a killer record in originating and closing deals in beauty and CPG;
• gets fired up by working on big, creative integrated/custom ad deals, including everything from original video to branded apps to game mechanics;
• is aggressive, energetic, entrepreneurial, upbeat, and generally amazing (and is happy to work with other team members who basically fit that description--and will have an open mind about doing karaoke with said team members).
The candidate will be responsible for originating and closing digital ad sales and sponsorships, including creating sales strategies and proposals for new accounts, with the goal of generating significant revenue. That’s the key to the job. Here is the more yadayada part of the position.
The candidate will identify, develop, pitch, close, and assist in executing a variety of ad sales initiatives, which will include leveraging video inventory via overlay/in-stream units, social media, sponsored interactive applications, branded entertainment (video and written), along with selling display ads, skins, specific channels, and newsletters.
Additional Job functions/responsibilities include:
• Originate, manage and scale a sales pipeline sufficient for meeting revenue goals
• Cultivate and pitch prospects, draft proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contracting, review, and signature process for insertion orders
• Develop and maintain a prospecting and targeting system and provide regular reporting to the CEO
• Formulate and implement innovative sponsorship packages that maximize revenue opportunities with brands and agencies
• Work with Edit, Production and Ad Ops to coordinate and oversee the execution of campaigns, including but not limited to a program’s launch, media delivery, optimization and campaign reporting
• Provide recommendations for enhancing and updating media kit and other sales materials
•Stay ahead of emerging digital advertising trends and identify new digital sales opportunities

You will be responsible for originating and closing digital ad sales and sponsorships, including creating sales strategies and proposals for new accounts, with the goal of driving significant revenue and establishing our leadership within the love and relationships category.
You will need to identify, develop, pitch, and execute a variety of ad sales initiatives, which will include the leveraging of video inventory via overlay/in-stream units, sponsored interactive applications, branded entertainment (video and written), along with selling display ads, skins, specific channels, and newsletters.

We are seeking freelance web producers to create content on our Drupal-based platform. This position involves taking already-existing content and inserting it into our system, making sure to fix formatting and to insert heds, deks, categories, tags, etc. The producers would also be responsible for conducting photo research, resizing and cropping images and uploading them to our site.
Requirements:
- Experience with CMS
- Familiarity with online media (basic HTML, knowledge of SEO)
- Photoshop or other photo editing experience
