The Top Five Mistakes Women Make In Relationship
Love, Self

And you don't even realize you're doing it.

Some say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

When it comes to relationships, we either learn from them or we make the same mistakes over and over again.

As a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience, I have come to observe the mistakes women make over and over again which set them back from having the relationship that they desire in their life, and may even lead to unhealthy relationships.

There are certain mistakes that women make over and over again that result in unhealthy relationships. Here are the top 5 mistakes:

1. Using the silent treatment.

When we use the silent treatment to punish our partners, it can send a message that they don’t matter, we don't care about how they feel and we are only interested in hearing what we want to hear.

2. Not asking for what she wants in bed.

For many women, their sexual life is only to seduce and please their partner. This will eventually lead to dissatisfaction and not wanting to initiate sex with your partner. He will eventually feel the rejection from you and become dissatisfied himself.

It will be healthier and better for you both when you ask for what you want and make it an enjoyable experience for the both of you. Don’t worry about hurting his feelings, he would rather know how to please you especially if you deliver the message in a loving way.

3. Trying to change her partner.

The very things which we once love or things that we did not pay that much attention to, in the beginning, can eventually become something that bothers us or that we wish that they would change.

So the manipulation tries to match the image that we have in our head of who our partner "should be" in the relationship with us.

4. Believing her partner should read her mind and know what she wants without communicating clearly.

You know how many times I have heard someone said he should just know what I want or what to do?

5. Believing it's her partner’s job to make her happy.

Sometimes, we get into a relationship thinking that we will be happier or that the other person should make us happy. The greater the distance between expectations and reality, the greater the disappointment.

We have to show up in the relationship happy and content with whom we are and the other person can compliment us and contribute to our happiness.

When we understand how our thinking can lead to making major mistakes in relationships that create an unhealthy dynamic, we can have the power to change the way we think which leads to the way we feel than how we behave in relationships.

We have the power to make decisions and choices that can lead us down a healthier road to happy relationships.
