How do the planets affect your love life when they work together at certain moments in astrology?
This month, each zodiac will get to see the planets in action thanks to the Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune conjunction taking place during the New Moon in Gemini.
New Moons are a time of fresh starts, but the one happening on May 30th is slightly different. It communicates with no other planet when it becomes perfect.
Then, as it moves into a new sign, communication between structured Saturn who likes to slow things down speaks to Mars in Aries who wants to speed things up.
Jupiter is in the sign of Aries. Jupiter rules growth, and it strengthens Mars helping it to push through boundaries.
And this is where the Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune conjunction starts to do its handiwork in each zodiac sign's love life.
Neptune is the planet of dreams, escapism, and illusions.
With Neptune trailing behind speedy Mars, and lucky Jupiter the energies of these three planets are really going to go Boom! Pow! if they’re sitting over an important point in your chart.
This energy is going to last through the entire month of June 2022, and for some zodiac signs even longer.
Before we get into some amazing examples, how might you find this out?
1. Go to Astro.com, click the box on the right that says “Charts and Calculations,” then click “Chart Drawing, Ascendant” and put your birth information in.
2. Once your chart comes up, click the blue bar that says “Transits.”
3. The position of the planets in your natal chart are shown by the planet symbols in black inside the chart wheel.
4. You will see more in green on the outside of the wheel. Those symbols tell you where the planets are now.
5. Jupiter, Mars, and Neptune are easy to spot.
6. Jupiter looks like a curvy number four, Mars looks like the circle and arrow “male” symbol, and Neptune looks like a trident.
7. Right now they would be very close together in green on the outside of your chart wheel, in a tight row.
If these three are sitting directly over a black symbol in your chart, this Jupiter/Mars/Neptune combination is going to be pretty powerful in your chart this weekend.
Let’s talk for a minute about what this loose Jupiter/Mars/Neptune conjunction means.
Mars conjunct Jupiter in Aries means:
Mars conjunct Jupiter reflects that you have a lot of energy for starting something.
It reflects that you have courage and get-up-and-go. You have the self-confidence to succeed in some area of your life.
The planet that Jupiter, Mars, and Neptune are hovering over will tell you what area of life this is in.
Jupiter conjunct Neptune means:
A Jupiter conjunct Neptune transit is a good time for spiritual self-development.
Topics like astrology, tarot, religious teachings, or meditation that you might have had trouble with before seem easier to understand.
Now you can figure out how to incorporate them into your life.
Mars conjunct Neptune
A Mars conjunct Neptune transit can make you feel romantic, or possibly paranoid, depending on how Neptune shows up in your natal chart and how emotionally and spiritually healthy you are right now.
Here's an example of how this transit can affect a person if married:
I read the charts this week of a married couple who have been having problems in their relationship.
The amazing thing about these two charts is that the wife’s Midheaven, or what she’s best known for in life, sits right over the husband’s Descending, or his most personal relationship.
The wife has been a stay at home wife and mom most of her life, so that’s what her Midheaven is referring to. Sitting right on top of the husband’s Descending: That’s their marriage.
And right over their marriage this month? This Jupiter/Mars/Neptune conjunction.
So, they have lots of courage to start something relating to romance and a breakthrough in spiritual growth, as this triple conjunction sitting right over their Midheaven/Descending is telling us.
This month, it will take time for these planets to move away from each other, and the energy of the New Moon lasts for three months.
So progress can be made in marital problems if this is happening in your couple's chart.
What does this mean for you if you're single?
The third chart I read this week is the chart of a woman who just got dumped. In her chart, Jupiter/Mars/Neptune is sitting right over her natal Chiron.
In astrology, Chiron is known as “the wounded healer,” or whatever emotional issues you received in childhood for the purpose of your soul’s growth and learning.
So, something to do with romance is teaching this person a lesson about her emotional and spiritual development, and she’s given the guts to digest something important.
What she had to say about this is that she realized the guy who dumped her was too much like her mentally ill mother in a lot of ways.
And she had hung on too long, waiting and hoping he’d change … just as she had with her mother long ago.
As we can see, when a triple conjunction like this passes over an important planet or point in your natal chart, it can be a powerful descriptor of a situation that’s looming large in your life.
Check your chart and see if Jupiter, Mars, and Neptune are trying to whisper some secrets to you.
Aries
(March 19 - April 19)
If you're an Aries, you may find that you're the initiator of change in your relationships. You will want to move things along quickly in love, but there may also be a part of you that's blind to red flags. You'll want to slow down to recognize what is truly in front of you to determine your course of action.
Taurus
(April 20 - May 20)
If you are a Taurus, this conjunction is taking place in two areas of your life: friendships and hidden enemies. You may have a friend who gives you really poor advice but unintentionally. Trust can be blinding when you're struggling to work through a relationship and its problems. It might be better to speak to a counselor instead of sharing too many details about your intimate problems with others.

Gemini
(May 21 - June 20)
If you are a Gemini, this month's conjunct affects your friendships. You could start to have feelings for a friend, and one that you may not have seen the spark coming. The energy can be confusing for you, especially if you're already in a relationship. Give this some time to think through before taking action. It may pass.
Cancer
(June 21 - July 22)
If you are a Cancer zodiac sign, you may notice that you are more optimistic and open-minded. You could start to see things from your partner's point of view and this is a game-changer. Be willing to admit you're wrong and share how your thoughts are beginning to form. You will get respected for your humility and honest transparency — especially because it's hard to do.
Leo
(July 23 - August 22)
Leo zodiac signs, secrets, and disclosures can be where this energy takes place in your love life. You may decide to bear it all in order to try and wipe your relationship's slate clean. This can be cathartic for you. You may feel good about yourself even if things in your love life don't turn out the way you had hoped they would.
Virgo
(August 23 - September 22)
If you're a Virgo, your zodiac sign may experience a new sense of purpose in your love life. You may decide to invest more time and energy into your relationship despite the fact that you felt it was impossible to fix.
Libra
(September 23 - October 22)
You could be with someone who is your opposite in every way, and this has caused you to feel a little disappointed, angry, and frustrated at times. The Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune conjunction can help you see that differences are blessings in disguise.
Scorpio
(October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio, your zodiac sign will look for ways to repair your relationship from the inside out. You may find it necessary to do things differently. The change you see will be more with your mindset than with how your partner has decided to do things, even though they are changing, too. Their changes can be in reaction to your changes.
Sagittarius
(November 22 - December 21)
