Love is what we make of it and when we experience two Piscean sextiles on March 14th. Our zodiac signs will be reminded that we are only limited by what we see.

The first transit is Mars sextile Neptune, with Mars in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces; the second is Sun sextile Pluto, with Sun in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn.

Mars sextile Neptune makes us even more passionate by getting us in touch with our divine essence, while Sun sextile Pluto will be increase our desire for success and truth, especially in our relationships.

The Mars-Neptune sextile is one that usually only occurs once a year, so while it’s not a moment we need to be in fear of missing out on, we do need to know how to work with its energy. The last time this occurred was March 2019,and the next time we will see it will be February 2021.

In astrology, a sextile is when two planets are within 60 degrees of one another, creating a positive and beneficial aspect that also ties in closely with the karma we’ve created. A sextile represents us reaping what we’ve previously sown and enjoying what we’ve worked for.

In this case, we’re going to experience some intense, passionate spiritual connections within our lives because we’ve put in the work, aligned ourselves to them, and we’ve never stopped believing they are possible.

Mars is the planet that rules motivation, ambition and passion. In Capricorn, he's more grounded and logical than his ruling sign of Aries. In Capricorn, he also only takes calculated risks, and is able to discern which path is meant for him and which is really only a distraction.

Capricorn is an earth sign, one that has no time taking his time as he slowly works towards achieving his goal which, in many ways, is what we’ve been doing. We’ve never given up that we weren’t doing much of anything; we were steadily working towards this dream, which is exactly how Pisces likes to do it.

Neptune is the planet that rules dreams, fantasies, spirituality and unconditional love. In Pisces, his home sign, he’s completely at home in this watery realm. Neptune is the planet that helps us move softly towards our goals in relationships, but does so in a mysterious way, which is the energy we’re going to harness during this time.

We may be moving quietly during this time, not necessarily in secret but at least in the path to the love we want. And we may be covert about it, preferring instead to focus on what we’re working towards rather than announcing it to others.

Together, Mars and Neptune will help us feel more alluring, loving and mysterious to those we’re in pursuit of, which means we’re more likely to attract partners or reignite a romance within an existing relationship.

We often underestimate the importance of having a purpose to our love, yet together, these two exemplify this energy as we’re reminded that while we have a purpose, our purpose also has to have a greater meaning. It’s wonderful to experience love and to enjoy the delicious feelings we have while in a relationship with another, but we’ll be more drawn to those individuals where it feels fated or divine.

Occurring on the same day, the Sun in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, assisting us with our thoughts. We will be more focused and determined to find success in our efforts.

Usually, this is a transit that occurs twice yearly. The last time we experienced this energy was November 2019, and the next time we will feel it is later this year in November 2020. Similar in energy, Sun in Pisces will help us to put that love first, our feelings first, and to follow our heart with the ambition and drive of Mars.

But Pluto in Capricorn is an interesting element to this transit and can be interpreted in a couple of different ways.

Pluto is the planet known as the lord of the underworld and the bringer of truth. Pluto brings to surface everything that was hidden, while the Sun tends to represent the ego of the self.

In many ways, this transit could help reveal the truth behind the motives we have in our life, especially concerning love and relationships. If we’re in a union because of ego — because someone looks like the person we should be with, because they offer validation to us, or because they represent a portion of our comfort zone instead of true unconditional love and acceptance — this transit may bring those truths to light so our ego has to readjust and align more authentically with spirit.

However, the other side of this is that with these two creating a sextile, that moment of benefit and karma we will be infused with personal power and a sense of being able to overcome any challenge we may have encountered. This could deal with us being able to deal with any issues or disturbances, even breakdowns we’ve had in our relationships, or the newness of trying to see if someone we’ve had feelings for has them for us as well.

Sun-Pluto energy is the excavation of our fears or doubts so we can operate from a healthier ego, one that tells us we deserve the best there is and that we’re attractive, lovable and worthy.

While both possible Sun-Pluto energies are different, there is a common theme here of us feeling really positive about ourselves and actually giving that energy off to others. We will be engaging, confident, attractive (even seductive).

Feeling good about ourselves lets us go after what we want, both romantically and spirituality, resulting in us seeing that magick does really exist. We just have to be in the place to see it.
