How the Deep Waters of Pisces will Make us feel the Love

Love, Zodiac

A deep heart is never something to be ashamed of.

On March 7th, the Sun and Neptune will conjunct in Pisces, opening our hearts and breaking down any walls we had previously built. But what does the Sun conjunct Neptune, with both the Sun and Neptune in Pisces, mean for our zodiac signs and love horoscopes?

In astrology, a conjunction is when two planets meet up within the same sign, which strengthens the given energy and provides the opportunity for us to make some important headway on a particular issue. In this case, we have a heavy amount of Pisces energy which will be felt by our hearts and the inability we feel to close ourselves down or deny what we’re feeling.

While this is a quicker-moving transit, because of the nature of Pisces season this month and the number of planets within this water sign, we can expect these energies to linger until the end of the month. But don’t make the mistake of thinking you have all the time in the world.

This transit is one that occurs only once a year, so we owe it to ourselves and our hearts to make the most of it.

The Sun represents our sense of self, our inner core and identity. It’s the part of us that knows who we are before anyone told us we were wrong or that we shouldn’t be that person. The Sun is our inner world, our thoughts, emotions, desires, and the inner knowing that we rely on when making choices and decisions.

In the best possible situation, our Sun identity is in alignment with the person we show to the outside world. However, in some cases, because of the need of acceptance or validation, even insecurity, who we present as to the world is not who we feel we are. This is the epitome of living our truth.

In Pisces, the Sun operates differently. We’re asked to bring the focus more inward, to look at the thoughts and feelings that at times seem easier to ignore. In Pisces, we’re looking at what matters most to us — not just those aspects of our own selves, but also for those people we have in our lives.

Pisces season doesn’t let us escape without making us fess up to our deepest feelings. In some ways like Scorpio, but in a more loving way. Everything during this time feels surreal or even mystical, and magic abounds everywhere. But through that lens we’re also seeing our own truth in a new light, we’re opening up, we’re feeling our feelings, and we’re coming to understand what love really means.

We get hurt. We hurt. We fall in love. We break up. We end up with the least likely person and become surprised by the relationship that manifests seemingly out of the blue. We make unexpected choices. We end relationships after decades and decide to marry within months. This is the way of the heart: the ability to be heart-centered, to not close down our hearts, to keep them open no matter what life may throw at us, no matter how many times we’ve been hurt.

The heart only knows how to love, and while sometimes those with deep emotional wells seem to hide this trait, to keep the best part of themselves under lock and key, that it is only ever a gift. It’s a unique quality to feel everything; to not just feel love, but to be and radiate love.

To feel the highs and the waves of energy from opening our hearts and interacting with those who make our hearts race. To love is an adventure, it’s an experience, and it’s also a way of approaching life.

Neptune can only listen to that internal guide. This is the planet that represents our higher selves, our dreams, hopes, thoughts and even intuition. Together with Pisces, this is the sign of unconditional love, which isn’t the type of feeling that holds back or closes. Unconditional love just simply loves. It doesn’t wonder, it doesn’t second guess, and it doesn’t depend on external factors.

With the Sun teaming up with this illusionist planet within Pisces, the next few weeks are going to be the time to tune in and listen. It’s going to be time to drop the should’s or could’s, to let go of what others say or who you might hurt or disappoint, and instead follow your heart.

It’s a time when we might be wearing our hearts on our sleeves and are more apt to act from that inner compass that has a tendency of directing us towards what matters most.

During the next few weeks, we could find ourselves taking bigger risks, more chances and letting logic fly out the window. This isn’t to say that we won’t be taking our brains with us when we decide to act from our heart, but rather, that we’re not going to lead with it.

We’re ready to go after what we want, to be who we are, and if that means we have to take a chance on love, we will. If that means that we need to risk everything in order to honor our truth and heart, we will.

We will do whatever it takes to live from our hearts and be love. Compassionate, endearing, sensitive, open and incredibly truthful about where we are in life and what calls to us. This is a time when we may find ourselves making some drastic decisions or changes, not necessarily because we’re being irrational but because we’re finally listening to our hearts and being us.

During the following month we could see relationships suddenly end, or even come together. We could see separations that last forever, or those impossible situations suddenly reignite.

There is no rhyme or reason when it comes to our hearts; there is no plan that can prepare us for the unexpected, which is why sometimes we just have to accept what we feel, accept who we are, and live first and foremost like we love ourselves.
