getty Part of what keeps us from being hit by a car while walking across a street is our sense of discrimination: watch out or be killed. These instincts are also exactly what make us racist, judgmental, and possibly unfair in our assumptions.
In the long run, how people judge you is based on the choices you make, and those choices always boil down to two sides: the bad and the good. Keep head down while crossing and get killed. Keep head up and eyes open, and live.
But what does that mean for our zodiac sign and daily horoscope? Oft times, we ignore the choices, and even more often we make those choices according to some preconceived notion of what it is we think we approve of.
This is usually what happens when we meet a person or simply know of them from afar. We make an assumption based on their looks, their clothes, hair, eyes, attitude, words.. whatever. We cannot help it and there are very few people on Earth who are that open that they do not pre-judge people or situations in advance.
And so, we judge people according to their zodiac signs, too. Each sign come with stereotypes — some can poke fun at these traits, and some can admire them. Either way, this is a thing we do and this is how people judge you.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
People fear you. You are very strong, and very wise... and that's intimidating to most. Unfortunately, your strength is scary and when people are scared, they will turn on you, because people tend to destroy what they don't understand.
You have suffered to be wise and to share your wisdom, but more times than not, you've been misunderstood for your positive intentions.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
People think you're lying to them. You may be, or you may not be, but there's something to your mysterious nature and that amazing look in your eyes that puts people on edge; not necessarily a bad thing, but more along the lines of distrust.
You've had to prove yourself in the past, and you might very well be tired of jumping through hoops to prove to your friends that you're trustworthy.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
People just automatically assume you're a loser. That's gotta hurt, but it's also something you've dealt with all your life.
The good part is that you're not a loser, you're just you, and in being YOU, you've come to trust your own gut and listen less to the noise of an disapproving world.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
People think you're a dummy. The "go-to" Cancer assumption is that you guys just like to stay home and watch TV 24/7.
If you're approached, you could be cajoled into having a little fun out of the house, but people don't bother asking you anymore, as they figure they could never compete with your love of doing nothing.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
People think you're amazing. All that Leo power and flash has a real magic going for it when it's let free on the masses.
Leo, you are the most charming of the signs, and even though we know you're also the worst show-off there is, what you show off is usually worth our praise and fascination, and so we just automatically think you're awesome!
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
People fear you. Not because you're wise or impressive, like an Aries, but because they know that you hate them — it's just a given. You hate so much, so often and so liberally, that people pick up on that and leave you be, if they can.
You don't like that, because if you're all alone, you have no one to hate, and that's just a big bummer for you.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
People think you're super-nice. That's because you are... on the outside. Which is probably a damned good place to start.
You may be a judgmental monster on the inside, but we'll never know it, and that makes us think you're the sweetest thing since the invention of bleached white sugar.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
People think you're good in bed. And maybe you are. Or maybe you are the absolute worst lover on earth, but your reputation as Super Sex Bomb proceeds you and makes you popular.
It's good that people think this of you, because the next thing they think of when they think of Scorpio is that you're probably mean, a murderer, a sadist and an all-time killer of all things good.
