We've all been there. Whether you're in a relationship now, or single AF because you just got dumped, ended things OR just simply want to be. We all know what it means to be alone.

Trust me, you'll have one side of you that feels great about the fact that you do NOT have to worry about Valentine's Day, but then the other half of you will forever wonder what could have been if you had just given yourself a little time to breathe and find yourself.

But this isn't an article about finding yourself. It's about attracting LOVE and how to attract the kind of love you've been dreaming about since you were a little kid.

It's about finding that butterfly/tingling feeling in your stomach but also knowing in your gut that this love is SECURE, this love will last FOREVER — and as much as you're excited, you're COMPLETELY comfortable.

So, to help ease your worries or anxieties about this up-and-coming V-Day, let's talk about what you can do to manifest the relationship you have been dreaming of. Let's discuss how to snatch that person of your dreams, shall we? 

Here are 7 steps to stay proactive and on top of your dating game this month, just in time for Valentine's Day:

1. Give yourself some much-needed TLC.

No, not the 90's-girl-hip-hop-trio but hey, they can help, too. What I'm talking about is treating yourself to a little R&R. The more you make YOURSELF feel like a queen, the more likely you are to attract a partner who will, too.

2. Dress up, go out and feel good.

OKAY. This is important, no? The more you force yourself to look your best the more you'll internalize this feeling. In turn, the more positive vibes you'll send out to the universe and in you'll reel the specific fish that was meant for you! 

3. Immerse yourself in the things that make you, YOU.

Most of all, you don't want the kind of love that you feel you need to change for. You need one that not only fits comfortably — but enhances the things about you, quirks and all.

So, paint! Do that yoga class you love! Immerse yourself in your personal hobbies and ALL things that make you the unique individual that you are! Trust me, it'll take you farther than you think.

4. Get your priorities in check.

If your priorities aren't sorted out now, don't think that you'll be able to juggle all you've got going on — along with a relationship. You need to learn how to budget properly and manage your oh-so-precious time.

The relationship that is right will, ultimately, be up there on your priority list. However, it will not and SHOULD NOT be numero UNO.

5. Remember to be REALISTIC.

Okay. If you're one of those people who change their needs and wants to fit the mold of a convenient relationship, please stop. You need to be realistic with IF you are able to handle something right now.

If you are, be realistic about every aspect of your life right now and where you honestly see yourself. If you're not realistic, good luck with the whole "it will last forever" part, because it most certainly will NOT.

6. Look on the bright side.

On the other hand, you should be nothing but optimistic when approaching anything new. I mean, you should think positively and on the bright side of things anyway, but definitely don't go in with negative assumptions.

Whatever happens, you're along for the ride and you know it will benefit YOU no matter what! That is what's MOST important.

7. Stick to your guns and keep dreaming big.

On that note, don't be afraid to keep DREAMING! Be the little kid that day dreamed about your prince or princess charming rescuing you from the castle. Not that you need to be rescued, but being able to recognize when and if you're settling is major.

If something stimulates you as much as your dreams do, then it could be a perfect fit. If it doesn't, it might just be a temporary lesson. Either way, have the courage to DREAM and never EVER stop.
