What Each Zodiac Sign Has A Hard Time Forgiving

We know that holding a grudge or resentment isn’t healthy.

Forgiveness is often the best thing we can do — not just for the other person, but for ourselves. However, some things may seem unforgivable and we may not be able to comprehend how to forgive someone.

We all have lines that, once crossed, are difficult to get back from. Sometimes, there’s no sense to what we forgive and what we won’t, but astrology can help us determine what influences our decision to forgive someone, or not, especially when looking at the personality traits of the zodiac signs.

The unforgiving zodiac signs, however, aren't quick to move on. But other signs may have a completely different viewpoint on what they find forgivable.

ARIES (March 21 - April 19)

Aries individuals have trouble forgiving people who ghost them. If someone wants to break up with Aries, that's fine, but at least have the decency to let them know. Send them a text, respond to their phone call or message, and don't just disappear.

Aries doesn't appreciate wasting time not knowing what's going on. Show them the courtesy of being open and honest about your feelings, and give them closure.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

Taureans have a hard time forgiving people who make them look foolish. You can disagree with them, even challenge them, but don't make Taurus look like an idiot. Don't prank them or make them a butt of a joke.

The worst thing you can do is repeatedly point out to them, in front of other people, how they're wrong or the mistakes they've made. If you have constructive criticism for them, give it in an appropriate way, not in a way that humiliates them.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)

Geminis have a difficult time forgiving people who are negative and pessimistic about the things Gemini does. They know that not every idea they have is golden, but they don't appreciate it when someone stomps all over their idea and never believes in their talents, skills, or abilities.

If you don't have any faith in Gemini, Gemini has no forgiveness for you.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)

Cancer has an extremely difficult time in forgiving people who hurt their family — it's even worse than if they hurt Cancer directly. They tend to be fiercely protective, and if someone goes after any their loved ones, they will come back for them in full force.

Now, this isn't to say that if someone hurts Cancer directly they'll be easily forgiven, just that it's easier than if a family member is affected.

LEO (July 23 - August 22)

Leos have a hard time forgiving disrespect. They tend to be leaders because they command loyalty, are charismatic, and genuinely care about people. It's one thing not to follow Leo, but to outwardly disrespect them? That doesn't go over well at all.

No matter how someone may try to make amends and prove their respect and admiration, there's no guarantee Leo will ever forgive them.

VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)

Virgos have a hard time forgiving people who undervalue them. Virgos are beyond competent — they're able to solve almost any problem, fix whatever is broken, and if they don't know something, they'll know where to find the answer.

If someone doesn't appreciate Virgo and know their value, they will always resent them and will never forgive, even if this person realized how wrong they were.

LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)

Libras have difficulty forgiving someone or a group who rejects them. They will hang on to their animosity until the end, even if they know that by not forgiving they're only hurting themselves.

Libras try to be wonderful friends, so when they're dropped by a friend, they will never forget how that made them feel. If the friend comes back and wants to resurrect the friendship, Libra will have none of it.

SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

Scorpios are notorious in the way they have a real problem in forgiving people who betray them. Don't cheat on a Scorpio, don't try to con them, and don't choose someone else over them or you'll be on their hate-list.

If Scorpio is angry enough, not forgiving the betrayer may not be enough. They don't have feelings of vengeance without acting on them.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)

Sagittarians have a hard time forgiving meanness of all kinds. If someone is vicious or they're unkind to a human or animal, Sagittarius will probably never forgive them.

The Sagittarius person can't fully take in someone who is deliberately unkind or who does hateful things to hurt others. It would take a miracle for them to ever forgive someone like that.

CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)

Capricorns have a hard time forgiving manipulative people or people who try to make them do things they don't want to do. Their intentions would have to be positive for Capricorn to even consider forgiving them.

AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarius has a hard time forgiving people who are disloyal. If you double-cross Aquarius or throw them under the bus, they will most likely stop speaking to you.

Aquarius wants the people in their life to have their back and prove they can count on them. When someone has proven to be treacherous and untrustworthy, they won't want to waste another minute in their presence.

PISCES (February 19 - March 20)

Pisces have a hard time forgiving people who are always picking on them and criticizing them. They know they're not perfect, but commenting negatively about them isn't helpful.

If a Pisces asked for notes, they want them in the most positive and supportive way possible, and there's no way they would want harsh criticism. If someone attacks Pisces verbally and lists all their negative attributes, it's not very likely they will ever forgive.
