Would you ever be caught dead in a bedazzled trucker hat? Maybe not in 2019 but that wasn’t a rare occurrence during the 2000s.
What was fashion like during 2000?
That time period was filled with eccentric, unique, and sort of questionable fashion trends, but we can’t help but love it.
I personally loved the early 2000s and the fashion because it was ruled by my queens, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Britney Spears.
If they were to pull a classic Regina George move and cut holes in their shirts and call it fashion, everyone would do the same.
I literally still look like I am living in that time because I always have my choker necklace on and oftentimes wear a hot pink bedazzled Von Dutch hat along with my pink Juicy tracksuit.
You might not still be openly rocking these hip looks almost two decades later, but we’ve all been guilty of sporting a 2000s fashionable outfit at some point even if you don’t want to admit it.
Don’t be afraid to own it though because this is a safe space and you have to come to terms with the fact that at some point in your life you could have left your house wearing a denim vest and pants with no back pockets.
Even if it is difficult to admit, we all resonate with some trends in the 2000s and dare I say, that we all embody one of the trends.
