Show them in small ways how grateful you are.

Actions speak louder than words, but the same thing can be said for appreciation. You can say you appreciate something your partner has done or thank them for it, but if you really want to bring it home, show how much you appreciate them with an action.
Sometimes, these actions have more to do with ourselves than our partners. And with astrology at play, how the zodiac signs show appreciation in their relationships all depends on their personality.
When you’re thinking of something nice to do for your partner, take a moment and think about the kind of things they like. Is there something they’ve wanted to buy for themselves but put it off saying it wasn’t necessary or too expensive? Maybe they like to go camping in the woods and you’re more of a city girl. Think how much it would mean to them if you organized a trip for the two of you and actually went through with it, with no complaints.
Showing appreciation for the people we love isn’t something that's one and done, but it is something that’s good to make a habit of.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries can be stubborn and impatient, so if they want to show appreciation for their partners, they may do something their partner wants to do but that they would usually not — going to a country music bar, work on a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle, or volunteering at a retirement home.
Anything that takes patience will show what Aries is willing to do to prove their appreciation.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
To show their appreciation for their partners, Taurus would cook them dinner. The meal wouldn't be something Taurus threw together; it would be planned out and include some of their partner's favorite foods.
They would make sure the food was delicious and looked beautiful on the plate as well. It would be obvious they had put a lot of love and care into the meal.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis are good at finding the right words to express their love, but sometimes those words mean more when they're written down. They would show their appreciation for their partner by writing a love letter.
It could be an old-school love letter, it could be an email filled with words of adoration and awe, or it might just be a few sweet text messages that get the point across in short bursts.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers show their appreciation for their partners by encouraging their partner to go after their dreams. By supporting their partner's passions, no matter how bizarre or unrealistic they may be, Cancer is showing they appreciate what their partner does for them.
They will do what they can to assist in their partner pursuing their passion by doing research, reaching out to people, or just telling their partner how much they believe in them.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
To show their appreciation for their partner, Leo is going to buy them the perfect gift. Leos are into gift-giving, and what better time to give a gift than when it's not expected?
Leo is the kind of person to send flowers just to say they're thinking about their partner and want to make sure they have a great day. It makes them feel good to pick out the perfect gift, and it sends the message of love that Leo wants to convey.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
To show their partner appreciation, Virgo is going to help them out in whatever way is needed. If there is something their partner hates to do but is something that must be done, Virgo will do it; if it's as basic as cleaning their partner's house because they've been swamped with work, they will do that.
Anything they can do that will lighten their partner's load, that's what Virgo will do — no thanks or payment needed.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libra will throw their partner a party. It could be a small gathering to watch the game or it could be a cocktail party in a fabulous location. Parties can be a lot of work and expense, and people just don't have the energy for the planning and/or expense.
But Libra enjoys doing things for other people, and by throwing a party for their partner, they're letting everyone know how much they adore them.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Like Libra, Scorpio shows their appreciation with a party, but their party is of a smaller and more adult variety. Scorpios tend to show their appreciation for their partners physically and will plan out an incredible night of making all their partner's fantasies come true.
Props, role-playing, edible oils, toys — these will all be on hand. And Scorpios will be all about their partner's pleasure, not their own. If their partner just wants to cuddle, that's okay too.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius shows their appreciation for their partner by spending quality time together. They are often on the go or out doing things, and sometimes it's hard to pin them down and just have a nice evening together.
When Sagittarius makes an effort to clear their schedule, be in town, and just focus on their partner, that's their way of showing how important their partner is to them and how much they love them.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are super busy all the time, but when they want to show their partner appreciation, they take the time to make romantic plans. It could be for a dinner or it might be for a weekend getaway where Capricorn can forget about work and focus on romance and the love they have for their partner.
They will want everything to be right, so they're not going to leave the details to the last minute. Even if the event appears to be spontaneous, a lot of planning will still go into it.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians show their appreciation for their partner by giving them space. Aquarians are extremely independent, and they prize their own autonomy, so why wouldn't they want those things for their partner?
When their partner says they need some alone time or want to do some solo-traveling, they will encourage them while letting them know they're there if their partner should need them.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces shows their appreciation by doing something creative, whether it's writing a song, painting something, or making a piece of art with their partner as inspiration. Whatever Pisces decides to do, it will be unique, one-of-a-kind, and unforgettable.
A gift they created is something people treasure for the rest of their lives. It's usually very clear that what Pisces has created took a lot of thought and came from the heart.
