Age is not a way to gauge someone’s maturity level. We all know adults who act like children — they have temper tantrums when they don’t get their way, or they are irresponsible.
Age is a number, but it may not have an influence on how someone acts the way astrology or a horoscope does. Every zodiac sign has their own maturity level, and can indicate if you are dealing with mature men, or men who won't grow up.
Sometimes, people’s ages are in direct opposition to how they act. When a grown man acts like he’s still a teenager, staying out late, not taking care of his bills, and acting as if being late to work every day is no big deal, that’s a problem.
People go through all kinds of crisis as they age. We get tired of being treated like a child, so we want to grow up. Then we want to get our driver’s license, vote, drink, and then start to wish we were younger.
Enjoy your age because you will look back and wonder why you weren't happier at being so young. You can be mature and responsible without being boring.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Responsibility and maturity don't come easily to Aries guys. They have a love for life and act as if they're doing something for the first time. It may be their 200th tennis match, but they'll still have the same enthusiasm for it as when they were first starting out.
But the flip side of this immaturity is that they tend to be selfish, blunt, and foolhardy. They don't think things through nor do they let themselves be caught up in the details. They may have no regrets but that doesn't mean the people in their lives haven't suffered the consequences of their actions.
Maturity level: Low
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
For the most part, Taurus are responsible and careful, especially where their emotions are concerned. They're not quick to trust and they do a thorough investigation before they can commit to anything or anyone.
However, they're very stubborn and aren't very good at compromise. A Taurus guy can get jealous and possessive like a child with a toy. He can also be very indulgent, even if that indulgence is too expensive and will put his budget out of whack.
Maturity level: Fluctuates
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
The Gemini male is not known for being super mature or responsible. They're flaky and are often late for dates and appointments even if they had every intention of making them. They get lost easily, they don't finish projects, and they can get so caught up in a conversation that they lose all track of time.
The Gemini guy gets bored easily and loves to change his look, his personality — anything, as long as it's different. He'd prefer to go to a different party every night rather than do any dull but necessary adult stuff.
Maturity level: Low
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
The Cancer male has a definite mature side to him. He likes to have the feeling of security (especially in his living space) and tends to be quite responsible when it comes to his finances. Where he may get off the maturity track is his emotions.
If he's hurt, he will hold on to a grudge and will go over previous relationships in his mind, looking for mistakes that he made. He has been known to get so upset that he loses control and acts out. He does better when he's in a relationship.
Maturity level: Moderate
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
The Leo male is known for his courage, loyalty, his ability to lead. He tends to act rationally and not impulsively. He knows himself and is honest about his strengths.
He won't back down from a fight, but he won't start it without cause either. He's confident and presents himself well which tends to make others believe in him and feel safe.
Maturity level: High
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos take their relationships, commitments, and promises very seriously. If he says he'll be somewhere or do something, he'll usually follow through. The Virgo male shows up and doesn't expect anything in return.
He's not hasty, and he's careful with his words as he knows the power that they have. The Virgo male is almost too mature and could actually stand to loosen up a little.
Maturity level: High
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
While the Libra male thinks of themselves as very well balanced maturity-wise, they actually skewer more towards immaturity. They would rather have fun than do the things that they're supposed to do.
He will procrastinate until the last minute and pay the phone bill. They get close to past due but they don't like paying late fees. He hates feeling that something is hanging over him and sometimes will pay way in advance so that he can forget about. It's not exactly a balance, more like a pendulum swinging back and forth.
Maturity level: Fluctuates
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The Scorpio guy thinks that he has everyone under control and is very mature. And he is, as long as everything is going his way. However, if the object of his affection doesn't have the same level of attraction, or someone betrays or lies to him, his temper takes over and he will have a big reaction.
It won't be a tantrum necessarily, it could be a slow burn intensifying as time goes on until he acts. It may take a long time, but it doesn't mean he doesn't act rashly or impulsively.
Maturity level: High... until it gets scarily low
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
The Sagittarius guy has a hard time with all the trappings of responsibility — long-term relationships, mortgages, and the inability to go off whenever the urge hits them. It's not that he can't do or have these things, it just doesn't come easily to him.
The Sagittarius guy treasures his independence above all else, but he knows this about himself, so he does make his decisions with this in mind.
Maturity level: Constantly changing
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
The Capricorn male is the image of responsibility. He takes his commitments seriously, and likes to have a strong familial and financial foundation. He's always there for the people who are important to him.
He's a great employee, partner, husband, and tries to do right by everyone. He may work too much and not take enough time off, but it's only because he's so determined to make a good life for himself and his family.
Maturity level: High
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Even if the Aquarius guy isn't into Star Wars or Star Trek, he's a techie of some kind. He loves new technology and video games, computers, and even on occasion cosplay. He may have trouble expressing his emotions, but he has no problem understanding bitcoin and drones.
The Aquarius guy is definitely in touch with his inner child and often geeks out on anything that's nerdy.
Maturity level: Moderate
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
The Pisces guy is an old soul. If he believes in past lives, he'll know he's had quite a few. He expresses his wisdom in the way he cares about everything on this planet, and how he expresses himself creativity.
Pisces feel things deeply and that's where their vulnerability gets in the way of their maturity. They don't always deal with difficult emotional situations in a mature way. The beautiful part is that Pisces is always trying to be a better person and you've got to give him credit for that.
Maturity level: High, with the occasional backslide
