When love is in the air, we scramble for a breath of it — and oh, the things we do for love! There was a song off the soundtrack to A Chorus Line called, "What I did for love," and I imagine that everyone who's ever heard it has nodded in agreement, as they too have "done it all for love." I certainly have.
But as far as the most romantic zodiac signs go, there are just some who stand above the rest with the lengths they go to in order to please the one they love. And not only does that affect their relationships, but their horoscope as well. Thanks, astrology!
What's funny is how we think about love, especially when we are smitten with it and driven to express that love, no matter how foolish it makes us.
When we are romantic, we can be glorious, because romance brings out the innocence in us, the vulnerability. We care less for ourselves in those moments and far more for the one who makes our heart sing. And for them, we commit to foolish, lovely acts of courtship and flattery, seduction and... hope.
The signs of the zodiac all take romance seriously, but each sign shows their romantic side in different and complex ways. Let's take a look now at how each zodiac sign expresses their romantic side.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
When Aries is feeling romantic, you will know it. These folks are highly demonstrative of their love.
Yes, yes, that Aries ego will come into play, mainly because they want you to love them better than anyone else, and they will try harder than anyone else to win that love. Aries may be a hot head, but man oh man, they sure do pour their attentions into the person they love and want.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
What Taurus has on all other signs is longevity. That means, when it comes to romance, Taurus keeps it up for years.
They are specialists at touching moments, and if anyone's going to write you a love poem, it's Taurus. For all their toughness and bullishness, this sign falls hard, and signs on for life when they fall in love. Here come the poems!
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
If you are fortunate enough in this lifetime to have a Gemini fall in love with you, then you must also prepare yourself for some of the corniest romantic acts you've ever seen. Gemini will be the one to whisper all night long, in a patronizing way, so that you feel like smashing them over the skull with a frying pan, but in their minds, they are seducing you, enfolding you, making you their own.
Look, these people are cute AF, so just chuckle on the inside while you witness adorable Gemini make a fool of themselves for you.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Sweetie pies by nature, those born under the sign of Cancer who find themselves smitten by love are quite warm and inviting, when the look of love is in their eyes. Romance may be "by numbers" — as in lack of imagination — but what they lack in variety is made up in their ever-alluring sweetness.
It's easy to fall for the goofball romantic, and that, Cancer is, for sure.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
"Give 'em the ol' razzle dazzle" could be Leo's catchphrase if they were as corny as all that, which they are. Nothing suits Leo better than putting all of their wow into their woo.
Did someone ask for romantic theatrics and glamour? Enter: Leo, our favorite show-off. But let me tell you, they show off because they feel the love. Oh, how romance makes them glow as if lit by a thousand stage lights!
Leo is prone to heroic acts of love, and those acts are even better when there are lots of people around watching.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo is the schmoozer, meaning when they're feeling romantic, they don't stop talking. Oh, the things they'll say, the fantasies they'll share. And you'll find that you'll be smothered in gifts, all of which do not exist in reality, but as a possibility of "someday."
Yes, it's a schmooze-a-thon over at Virgoville. They'll make you feel like a million bucks. Thankfully, talk itself is cheap.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Ah, the beautiful, smooth operator that is Libra. Libra is full of surprises, and almost none of them would be in the least bit expected at all. They will knock your socks off with their sudden displays of affection, and understand this: affection is a very direct path to arduous passion.
You will want your Libra lover more than you ever thought possible simply because they take so long with their tease.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Mmm, Scorpio has some delicious ideas for romance, and when they're in the mood for la la la love, and you're in the mood back, all I can say is, kiss your pride goodbye because true romance when delivered by a Scorpio is about the Scorpio and his or her partner's fear/pain/humiliation... and sometimes, love.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)

AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
As much as they secretly wish they were the object of your desire, they will let you know in some very beautiful ways that you are the object of theirs. Aquarians have a way with words, and they've been known to mix romance with kindness. How interesting.
Like Sagittarians, they are obsessive, and that can be interesting as well to be on the receiving end of. You may want your Aquarian lover to dial down the romance a notch... or 12.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
"Come on over, I'll make you a meal." That's how it starts. Pisces is all about the sit down, right from the cocktails to the After Eight mints. And by sit down, that also might take place anywhere, like the bedroom.
They just want to make sure you're fed and showing signs of excitable happiness before they show you the real reason they wanted you over. Your compliments to the chef.
