Turns Out Your Perfect Lipstick Color Is The Same Shade As Your...

Ladies, you don’t have to waste any more money trying to find the perfect lipstick color. The answer has been written across our chests this whole time.

Release the boobs, take a good look in the mirror and take a mental photo of your nipples because they are the ultimate color swatch.

While you might get arrested for whipping them out in the isle of Sephora, you could instead take a photo on your phone and compare them to the lipstick shades on the shelf. Plus, you’ll have some nice nudes ready to send when you’re done.

According to The Doctors on NBC, the color of your nipples is the perfect shade for your lips. It’s kind of like your body’s natural way to help you figure out what’s going on with your face.

It turns out that nipples are one to two shades darker in color than the skin on our boobs. This puts them in the perfect position to show off which color contrast would naturally look best in other places on your bod.

However, take this with a grain of salt because according to Dr. Lindsey Bordone, a dermatologist at Columbia University Medical Center, nipple color can change. A shift in hormones, chronic diseases, vigorous loofah scrubbing, and scratchy sweaters can all cause the nipples to darken over time.

I don’t know about you, but I have thrown a ton of money down the drain trying to figure out which lipsticks look good on me. It’s been a battle since I was thirteen years old (is that too young for makeup?) and if I would have just known to look at my nipples, maybe I would have had a good chunk of cash for my college tuition.

But at least I know now that all I have to do is flash myself in the mirror before going makeup shopping to get the ultimate lipstick haul.
