Is George Clooney Lonely And Hollywood "Poor"?
Buzz, Self

The foxy actor opens up to the Hollywood Reporter about what it's really like to be George Clooney.

Sometimes we give celebs too much credit and assume their lives are all glitz, glamour and money 24/7. Maybe in some cases that's true, but for the most part, it's refreshing when a big star comes out and proves they're just like the rest of us.

George Clooney recently opened up in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter about all things Clooney, including his occasional loneliness, how he makes far less money than people think, and his real relationship with Brad Pitt. George Clooney Doesn't Want Another Marriage…Ever

When is he the loneliest? Like a lot of people, he feels isolation in bad relationships and when the spotlight is too much on him.

"Anyone would be lying if they said they didn't get lonely at times," he says. "The loneliest you will get is in the most public of arenas... and I have been infinitely more alone in a bad relationship; there's nothing more isolating. I have been in places in my life where that has existed."

Of course, George is currently dating Stacy Keibler, but he refuses to talk about that, claiming there are so few things in his life that are private, and he wants that relationship to be one of them. We're guessing she helps ease at least some of her man's loneliness. George Clooney & Stacy Keibler Have A "Touchy-Feely" Dinner Date

One thing he's not afraid to talk about, however, is money. While he's clearly making more than most of us, he doesn't exactly rake as much as you might expect.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Clooney took a humble $300,000 for his role as a grief-stricken, cuckolded father in The Descendants, a $20 million-budgeted best picture nominee." For the most part, he only takes home a few hundred thousand dollars for his work, not the millions upon millions we'd expect for a Hollywood heavyweight like Clooney.

And even though it seems like he and Brad Pitt are BFFs, they don't hang out as much as it seems.

"Brad is one of the great guys," says Clooney. "We're good friends, but it's different from what people think, meaning we don't spend a lot of time together. He has been to my home in Como; we motorcycle together. But until recently, I hadn't seen Brad in a year." Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt Is A Manly Man

Shocking, right? But then again, maybe we assume too much about celebs. At least George is brazen enough to tell it like it is!
