Some people don't do well with change. They don't like it when their surroundings, their job, or even the people around them change. They may not even be comfortable with themselves changing.
According to astrology, there may be some points in your birth chart that make you one of the zodiac signs that hate change.
In astrology, there are fixed signs that are known for their resistance to change as well as Earth signs who have a tendency to be pretty inflexible.
If you're one of these signs, keep in mind that change is good and if we don’t have it, we stagnate and stop growing. Having a good attitude is crucial. If you embrace it and don’t resist it, your life will get better. It may feel like a risk, but the benefits of change will improve your life.
6 Zodiac Signs That Hate Change
1. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
As both a fixed and Earth sign, Taurus hates change more than any other zodiac sign.
Tauruses know that they can't control everything but that doesn't mean that they're okay with change being thrust upon them. They're stubborn, and if a change has to occur, they prefer it to come in small incremental pieces.
They like to feel as if they're in control, and when unexpected change happens, they feel lost.
Taurus may not directly express how they dislike change and may appear okay with it, but the truth is it stresses them out.
2. Leo (July 23 - August 22)
One reason why Leos are leaders is that not only are they often in charge, they're good at being in control. Once they've formed an opinion, as fixed signs Leos tend to hang on to it and it takes a lot of evidence and arguments to change their mind, not even then much of the time.
Leos like schedules and for things and people to be on time. Don't change the meeting venue at the last minute unless you want to annoy Leo. They can be inflexible, even when it would benefit them to be more adaptable. Leos may not like change, but they force themselves to accept it gracefully.
3. Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is a fixed sign that is ok with initiating change — but that doesn't mean they like it when it has nothing to do with them.
They are all about the latest technology and better ways to do things. They like progress but what they don't like is a change that comes from chaos or has negative after effects.
They'll be the first person in line waiting for the new iPhone but continue to live in their old college apartment even when they can afford something in a better neighborhood. Aquarians like what they like and aren't interested in changing things up.
4. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo knows that change is inevitable, and they appreciate what can be learned from it. Where their status as an Earth sign comes in is when Virgo analyzes what created the change, the aftermath of the change, and what could have prevented the change.
Change shakes up Virgo in ways that they don't always appreciate. Virgos do things precisely and they have come by their methods through trial and error. By the time they have things the way they like them, they feel no need to change them up. If it works, why change it?
5. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Earth sign Capricorn like things to be in order and regulated. Change isn't like that; it's messy, random, and complicated and this causes Capricorn much distress. If something catastrophic happens and change is forced upon them, they feel as if everything is unmanageable and may not know what to do.
Capricorns don't like feeling unprepared or lacking in a specific skill set. They want to save the day but aren't always able to do that when change is involved.
6. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
You might think that a sign who is so impulsive and willing to take risks would be great with change, but that's not always the case with Aries. Though neither a fixed nor Earth sign, they need a comfort zone and a strong foundation that will support them when they do something risky.
Aries are pretty good with positive changes like a new baby or a job promotion, but negative change isn't their jam. It stresses them out and makes them feel helpless and unbalanced.
If something horrible happens politically, or a natural disaster, or an illness, and there's nothing Aries can do, they'll need to do something active or social or they'll become self-destructive.
