The final season of Shameless — a family comedy-drama television series — is airing right now, and it's not something that should be missed, and some characters act just like your zodiac sign.

Developed by John Wells, Shameless first debuted in January of 2011 and has since become the longest-running original scripted series in Showtime's history, at eleven seasons.

All but the most recent season are available on Netflix, so it's the perfect time to catch up on the Golden Globe-nominated show.

Set on the South Side of Chicago, the series depicts the poor, dysfunctional family of Frank Gallagher, a neglectful single father of six.

Without a competent parental figure, the independent and industrious kids learn to take care of themselves, though not without simultaneously partaking in dangerous misadventures of their own.

Each member of the Gallagher family (including some honorary Gallaghers) is authentic and dynamic.

No one is perfect, but that's what makes the show so captivating.

Here's which Shameless character you are, by zodiac sign:

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Mickey Milkovich

He is confident and often acts without thinking.

The turbulent fire sign can only be represented by Mickey Milkovich, neighborhood thug turned one half of the fan-favorite couple "Gallavich" (the other half being Ian Gallagher).

There's no denying Mickey's aggressive nature, and like an Aries, he tends to be short-tempered and impulsive.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Fiona Gallagher

Fiona Gallagher, the de facto matriarch of the dysfunctional family, is reliable, devoted, and resourceful, just like a Taurus.

As an earth sign, Taurus is practical and well-grounded. Fiona has had to be sensible in order to raise her five younger siblings.

She is willing to do anything for her family, from working terrible jobs to sacrificing her social life.

Her stubborn (or bull-headed) side comes out when her family is in danger, which admittedly happens a lot

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Jimmy Lishman

Though Jimmy/Steve hasn't been seen for several seasons, there's no denying that his dual personality makes him quite the Gemini.

Geminis are notoriously two-faced and seeing as Jimmy (Steve?) lives two separate lives — that of a car-stealing South Sider and a well-bred rich guy — he is the epitome of the Gemini twins.

He is quick-witted and adaptable, utilizing these to live his double life.

Jimmy is sociable and charming, but equally unreliable and often finds himself in trouble because of it.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Debbie Gallagher

Like a true Cancer, Debbie can alternate from emotional and sympathetic to manipulative and pessimistic.

At the start of the show, she was a sweet and kindhearted kid, described by Frank as being "sent by the gods."

Even if her father didn't always (or ever) deserve it, Debbie was always there for him, often bringing him a coffee and pillow when he passed out on the floor of their home.

But as the show went on, Debbie's manipulative and antagonistic side came out.

She even tricked Derek into making a baby with her and helped her grandmother hide a meth lab from Fiona.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Frank Gallagher

Leos are stubborn, arrogant, and dramatic, just like Frank Gallagher.

As a fire sign, Leos are warmhearted and always looking to have a good time. Frank is always the last to leave the bar and can be the life of the party.

Frank can also be lazy, constantly scheming to receive disability checks, spending entire days at The Alibi Room, and never parenting his children or working a job.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Liam Gallagher

The youngest of the Gallagher family represents the earth sign, Virgo.

Though he was a shy kid, once he started attending private school, he became outspoken and intelligent.

Liam uses his smarts to bribe a bully with schoolwork and help Frank rob rich houses (though his kindhearted side kicks in and he secretly returns the stolen items to the owner's children).

Libra (September 23 – October 22): Brad Young

Lip's mentor is the cardinal air sign, Libra.

Like the gracious Libra he is, Brad cares for Lip and helps him in his journey towards sobriety. He convinced him to attend Alcoholics Anonymous and even got him a job at the motorcycle garage that he works at.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21): Veronica Fisher

Scorpios are assertive and determined people, just like V. She is an undeniably dominant force, and the best friend Fiona could possibly ask for.

V is resourceful, using her nursing home knowledge to constantly help the Gallaghers.

Scorpio is the most sensual sign of the Zodiac, and Kev and V's relationship is nothing if not passionate.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): Carl Gallagher

Sagittarius are free spirits, just like Carl Gallagher.

From selling drugs to joining a gang, Carl is clearly not afraid to take risks. He lives in the moment and doesn't think of the potential consequences.

Sagittarius is loyal and dedicated to their family. Though Frank has been a complete failure of a father figure, that hasn't stopped Carl from repeatedly coming to his aid.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Ian Gallagher

When a Capricorn wants something, they want it right now.

Ian wanted to join the army, so he did, even if that means lying about his age.

Though he joined under questionable circumstances, his excellent work ethic and Capricorn's self-control made him excel.

That was until his independent and impulsive side got the best of him when he stole a helicopter and landed himself in jail.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): Lip Gallagher

Intelligent Aquarius can only be represented by the genius of the group, Lip Gallagher.

Lip is incredibly smart, but his rebellious side means that rather than finishing high school, he used his brainpower to take the SAT for other students and sell marijuana from an ice cream truck.

Aquarius will do anything — including self-sacrifice — for someone they love. Lip cares deeply for his family and has taken the fall for Ian several times when their shenanigans went south.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Kevin Ball

Gentle giant Kev is the sensitive water sign, Pisces.

Compassionate Pisces are always willing to help others. Though Frank and the rest of the Gallagher gang get on his nerves, Kev can often be persuaded to give Frank drinks on credit or cash his disability checks for him.

Pisces are fiercely loyal towards their romantic partners, and there is no denying the passion between Kev and V.
