The Most Disappointed Zodiac Signs And What Frustrates Them Most

getty Expectation leads to disappointment. We build up our expectations and then we place those standards on top of everyone and everything we come into contact with. And time and again, our expectations turn out to be too high for others to live up to, and so, we plummet into despair.
What is it that disappoints us... and why? We have to realize that disappointment is the negative side of expectation. Even slight disappointment — sending out a resume with hope but never hearing back, holding the door open for someone while they don't say thank you, wanting to be paid for working during a government shut down — can affect us.
And in astrology, what disappoints the zodiac signs all depends on their personality type and how they handle conflict. Because for the disappointed zodiac signs, their despair is something they can't always deal with.
Deepak Chopra once told us to "expect the highest," which is basically his way of saying, "use the Law of Attraction to manifest your reality the way you want it to be. Expect the highest and therefore create it!"
Unfortunately, one has to be a little more than determined to expect the highest and manifest it out of sheer will; you have to be firmly established in affirming the best outcome, so much so that you never receive anything but the highest when you intend for the highest. But rarely if ever does this happen. It's wonderful and positive in theory, but real life comes with a lot of dashed hope due to expectations gone unfulfilled.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Don't misunderstand them. Yes, that's a warning, because not only will they take you to task for misunderstanding what they believe is clear, they'll be so disappointed in you for not getting them that they'll make you feel stupid for even trying.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Missing out on events, like music or art, is disappointing. Taurus is a sign that loves to have fun, and if they are somehow shut out or unable to get to where the fun is, they take on the pain of disappointment, which turns them all into crybaby brats.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Having to choose, and having to do so in a timely way, is the ultimate disappointment to a Gemini. They don't want to know that there's a choice resting on their shoulders, and they don't want to be pressured to act on that choice.
They wanted to do it on their own time, and having to lock in to a time makes them feel regretful for even getting involved.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
What disappoints Cancer is not being able to communicate when they want to. If the phone goes out, Cancer is not happy. They need to check in, and they need to know all is well.
They are security-based, and being without the proper tech makes them nervous and disappointed that they left home that day.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Missing an opportunity to claim attention is a regret and a disappointment to a Leo. Not getting the part, not getting an A on a paper, not getting the partner they had their eye on — this kills a Leo, as they really do intend to get everything they want. Major disappointment almost every single day.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Unfairness. And yes, of course, unfairness upsets everyone, but Virgo seems to pride themselves on things being fair, so they expect this in others. They can't fathom the idea that anyone wouldn't be fair, so they spend a good amount of time completely disappointed in humanity.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
They do not like to be disagreed with, questioned, spoken to or argued with — not unless they can insult and hurt whomever they are sparring with. If you like something that Libra finds unlikeable, they project on to you the most horrendous thoughts.
This is how they deal with their disappointment of you. Libra hates you simply because you're not them.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The human slime that is you is what disappoints Scorpio. And you might be thinking, "Oh, but I am not human slime! I am a good and nice person." All the more reasons for Scorpio to see you as a waste of space in the greater scheme of things.
Scorpio is disappointed that life isn't controllable, and so they are in constant search for control.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Perhaps the biggest loner of the zodiac, Sagittarius really suffers the slings and arrows of disappointment in people. They usually get the message too late, and that darned naivete of theirs often times prevents them from learning their people lessons on time.
Hurt and pouty, Sagittarius soaks in their disappointment and then moves on, alone.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Lack of team spirit really demotivates Capricorn, and when they rely on a certain person to deliver on a promise, if that promise is not made good, that Capricorn will not forget it. They will ruminate on a broken promise forever, setting themselves up for timeless disappointments in the future.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius tends to set themselves up for grand schemes that cannot be attained, and in doing so, they grow increasingly more disappointed by the day. They dream big, do very little to achieve, and wallow in disappointment and self-pity.
PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
Born into expectation, Pisces wants the right partner, the soulmate dream, the fantasy riches and career of a lifetime. And then reality hits and they have to pay bills, or... try.
Pisces wants it all but is willing to do virtually nothing to get it, so when results-time rolls around and they have nothing, they pout in disappointment.
