A new year provides endless opportunities to get out of the house and go somewhere new. Not just a restaurant that just opened downtown: carpe diem, or in more colloquial, Internet terms, YOLO! It's not enough to watch someone else soak rays and see amazing things for a few minutes on your screen.
But how can you decide where to travel next? Well, astrology might have the answer. Just as the zodiac signs have different personalities, they have different ideas of what's fun.
I may be a little biased — as a Sagittarius, I am inclined towards travel. Sagittarians are free-spirited adventurers with an insatiable desire to explore places and cultures way beyond the familiar. In college, I spent a semester abroad in London, England, though I spent almost every weekend outside of the city — usually way outside the city. My twin sister went a step further and lived in Japan for five months.
Some zodiac signs are more adventurous than others, but travel is definitely for everyone. Certain locations will resonate with each sign in a different way. There are also plenty of places in the United States that can seem like a totally different country, aside from shared language. You can’t find In-N-Out burger on the East coast; New York pizza is imitated often across the states, but rarely live up to its true home.
