There's a nerd in all of us.
getty I suppose we can all agree that being human is definitely complex, so much so that at times we all wish for simplicity. And being that simplicity is a hot commodity in a world made up of complicated and entangled thoughts, we sometimes turn our attention to that which we can control: our secret nerdy behavior.
The truth is, we're all nerds to some degree. I mean, it would impossible to live without some diversion, some interesting little quirk or interest to keep us in the game. And when it comes to the
nerdiest thing about each zodiac sign, it really all depends on the personality traits set up by astrology.
So, while the word "nerd" technically denotes someone who lacks skills and is awkward, it's come to also mean someone who chooses to do socially goofy things, or dress in ways that are... hipster. Nerds like gadgets and games. Nerds like tech, pens, modeling kits and DVD collections. Nerds are us.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
You'll find the biggest binge-watchers in this group. They'll even nerd-out with intensely complicated remote controls for their smart TVs. They take their TV time very seriously. Watch out.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Oh, how they love their phones. I'm not even sure it's about what they can do with their phones as much as it's about getting on line for the latest version. They love their tech, these nerds about town.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gadgets, gadgets and more gadgets. Gemini is the last guy out of the store... when it's time to do the shopping, you can trust that if you bring your Gemini friend with you, because it's an all day experience. They really like "trying stuff out."
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
This sign is all about collecting tiny things. Yep, they love their little, goofy collections and you'll find Cancers all over the booths at Comic Con types of gatherings. These nerds spend stupid bucks on merch.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo enjoys acquiring, owning and showing off what they consider to be "the best." That, in nerd-ness, means you may end up spending an hour or more looking at Leo's collection of movie memorabilia.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo's inner nerd rises up in the form of a strange love of rings and jewelry. When it comes to rings, which can range from Batman Utility Items to the Hope Diamond, it's all of value to the nerdy Virgo.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
If Libra could collect human beings for the purpose of torturing them, they would; however, that's a difficult thing to get away with, so instead, Libra feeds their nerd love by surrounding themselves with plastic blow up dolls. It's hard to be as lonely, or as nerdy, as Libra.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Nerds that are born as Scorpios are vicious, Renaissance Faire types of nerds. They joust to kill. They love to get into costume and do what they do best: inflict pain.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
You'll find your typical Sagittarius eyeball deep in old books. They can't stay away from books — it's their escape. While that might not sound ultimately 'nerdy', understand that they read while dressed up as spacemen, always.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Petitions. Sign This! Egads, nothing rocks a Capricorns world like a mission to save something hopeless. Get on those logo caps, those insignia jackets, pass out those flyers. These nerds are all about group activities and the uniforms that go with them.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
If you're a nerd, they're a nerd. If you're not, they're not. The thing about Aquarians is that they're not original in anything they do. They take their cue from you, so if you're nerdy — and you ARE — then so are they.
PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
CRAFTS, yes, crafts. They make everything. Then they put their wares up on Etsy, and send the cute little packages out with cute little cards and cute little glittery things that fall out of the box when you open it. Nerds.
