Hello, compulsive behavior. Now, we're not going to delve into the specifics of OCD, but we are going to talk about compulsive behavior, what it is, and how we're all a bit OCD when it gets right down to it. Would you be able to recognize the compulsive zodiac signs? That's where astrology comes in to help.
Compulsive behavior is when we perform actions that we feel are necessary, no matter how weird or unnecessary these actions are. Like facing a knife away from you at a restaurant table, or checking to see if you have your keys, even though you've just locked your door and have the keys in your hand. Compulsion is not about thinking — it's about acting in way that personally works with your own mental condition. Translation: we're all nuts.
According to the zodiac, we all come with certain traits and aspects. But each zodiac sign is also equipped with its own version of OCD. Who does what strange thing? What signs do what? Let's take a look at the compulsive things that each zodiac sign does, whether they like it or not!
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
While it may not seem like a compulsive act, Aries cannot just take things at face value. They HAVE to argue and overanalyze, because they have to be right in the long run. They are compulsively argumentative.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Pushiness. They will get on your nerves and push, push, push without even knowing how hard they're pushing. They can't help it. They want what they want and they get it by wearing everyone down by pushing too hard.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Nitpicky bastards, all of them. I'm joking. But seriously, Gemini really is a bit compulsive about other people getting it right. And of course, it's Gemini who decides what's right.
If you aren't on their page, they will pick you to death, piece by piece. Snobby Gemini is a compulsive bore.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
If you spend anytime at all with a Cancer, you'll probably want to run for the hills after the 35th round of, "Do I look nice?" Cancer is just way too neurotic to stay put, so they compulsively make you validate them at any chance they get.
Honestly, it's annoying. They literally need compliments 24/7 or they crumble.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
It's not easy being the King. And that's because being a Leo means compulsively worrying round the clock if what they're doing is good enough for the world. They seek acceptance to such an insane degree that their hunger for approval borders on obsessive.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
The nastiest of the signs, Virgo is compulsive about... eating. Good old, down to earth "eating." That's all.
But if you happen to be one of those people who cannot tolerate watching a person gut an egg roll and scrape the innards out with a three-inch acrylic fingernail, then by all means, avoid going to dinner with a Virgo. They are problematic around food.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are fully compulsive about doing things "by the book." That's not to say they can't be rebels too, it's just that they have this weird respect for laws and rules and they won't budge on it.
They are compulsively law-abiding. Kinda weird, right?
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Super neat freaks, Scorpio is not only completely OCD for cleanliness and order, but they won't leave their house until they know everything in their LIFE is in order. It's hard to be a Scorpio.
One can't always live the life of a successful sadist and cruel person; one must compromise at times and do other things than hurt people. Poor, poor Scorpio.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
This sign is comprised of a bunch of lunatics. Sagittarians are the worst. They are not only obsessed with everything that interests them, they are compulsively drawn to becoming everything that interests them.
In other words, Sagittarians devour personalities and make them their own. And yes, it is a dire compulsion. They need to "be other people."
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Here we have the real deal in terms of OCD. It's just not easy when you're Capricorn, and why? Because everything's gotta be perfect.
These folks are good at what they do, but you won't see the finished product until it's almost too late, because Capricorns are relentlessly looking for what's wrong in their own work, and they will find it too. That's what compulsion does: it makes you work.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Outside of compulsively forgetting to be nice, Aquarians live in their own worlds where no people can invade their space. They compulsively avoid contact with others, stick to what's familiar, and freely put down all things that are not.
Aquarians are compulsively mean to others because it makes them feel safe to be that way.
PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
Overthinking and over-worrying are part and parcel of the compulsive Pisces personality. This is why they are upset and crying all the time: because everything hurts their wee feelings.
What's bizarre about that it is that rarely is anything hurtful, it's about how they interpret everything around them. They HAVE to see the worst in things and are driven to see only the worst. It's a compulsion, unfortunately.
