How your love life will change in 2018
Love, Zodiac

Tigers are unpredictable, whether in a relationship or not.

On February 16th, we began the year of the dog in the Chinese zodiac. And because your Chinese horoscope differs from zodiac signs, the changes in your life will follow suit as well.

Someone born in the year of the Tiger is born in the years 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 and 2022. Chinese astrology doesn’t follow the Georgian calendar that we use to mark January 1st as the start of the New Year; instead, it follows the lunar cycles, which is why it’s celebrated later in the year, usually around February.

In Chinese astrology, we break down each animal sign into one of the five elements: gold, wood, water, fire and earth. These individual personality types occur only once in a sixty-year cycle, meaning that in this time frame, we would only see a wood Tiger once.

It is believed that a person’s personality is dictated by the sign and the element of the year of their birth:

  • The wood Tiger (1926, 1986) is very compassionate, empathetic and caring.
  • The fire Tiger (1938, 1998) can be very caring and happy.
  • The earth Tiger (1950, 2010) is always up for adventure believes in a cause and has a large amount of faith in things working out as they are meant to.
  • The gold Tiger (1962, 2022) is very outgoing and exuberant, excitable but can also be stubborn.
  • The water Tiger (1974) very positive, healthy mindset and is able to learn things quickly.

Tigers are unpredictable, whether in a relationship or not. Sometimes they are looking for love, and at others they are only after a one-night stand. Sometimes they dream of marriage and monogamy while others wonder if they will ever settle down.

With these impetuous but brave characters, they can often leave their lovers wondering about their intentions; however, it’s not their objective to mystify those that care about them, it’s just that they sometimes literally change their minds that quickly.

The thing with Tigers is that they need adaptability in order to feel enticed and engaged in a relationship. Tigers are charming; they are commanding and speak their minds. If a Tiger is in love with you, there will be no doubt because of the bold and decisive action that they take once they are certain of something. However, while a Tiger never goes back on what they said, they do still need their partners to never become lax when it comes to showing their love and engaging with them.

Tigers like to play, to travel, to learn new things, to be exposed to situations and places that are new to them. They take it all in and process it as a part of growing; the more they experience the richer they become. They won’t ever stand for living someone else’s dream, although often they lack a specific plan about what they want to do and where they want to be.

Never underestimate a Tiger, and never doubt their ability to make the most of any situation. The thing with Tigers is that while they don’t often make great plans ahead of time, they still seem to follow an inner compass on where they want to go and can take on anything that comes their way. Freedom is important to these souls, and anyone who has ever loved them knows that they have to be able to come and go as they please so as to not end up feeling caged.

Tigers enjoy being the center of attention in all areas of their lives which translates to them often being in a leadership role in their careers. They excel being in the spotlight or as the boss in any given situation; they can handle themselves with confidence at all times.

This year looks like it will bring lots of opportunities for financial gain through surprise partnerships, investments, and even the lottery. Overall, this year Tigers will see that they are being asked to build the foundation for their careers rather than make any huge advancement.

Tigers have an excellent year ahead of them in love. They will meet new people and enjoy the opportunity to spend time with people that are from outside of their social circles. Male Tigers have to watch for being drawn to a woman who is just as stubborn as they are, but as long as they focus on what really matters, they likely could end up finding their life partner this year.

For women, it seems that Mr. Right may be waiting around the corner. Because of the strong desire to do well and excel in the work environment, there could be a workplace romance this year; however, it also seems that the gentleman in question may doubt your interest, so you will need to make the first move in order to start the relationship.

Overall, 2018 will be a really wonderful year for Tigers. There is a lot of opportunity for financial gains and for romance, but the biggest obstacle will be to pick your head up and not let yourself miss the chance of a lifetime. Don’t be so stubborn about how you envisioned your life going that you end up missing out on the life that is trying to grow in front of you.

Tigers have a really dynamic personality and outlook on life; they are vivacious and driven by the desire to succeed. To get the attention of a Tiger you have to be just as confident and flexible as they are; it helps to let your intentions be known and remain upfront and honest about what you want and need. They also like some challenges and opportunities to play, so don’t forget that you will need to appeal to all of the Tiger’s qualities in order to truly capture their hearts.

Tigers are about to have one of the years that they won’t soon forget. The only thing they have to remember is to not let themselves get in the way of actually getting what they want.
