The reality stars admit to faking a wedding, a divorce, and a sex tape. All while blowing millions.

In the least shocking news of the century, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have admitted in an interview that pretty much everything they've done in an attempt to advance their celebrity status over the years has been fake. And while they were faking their way through a wedding, a divorce, a sex tape scandal, an adultery scandal, a music career and all those cheesy and quite obviously posed paparazzi photos, they were also wasting millions of dollars. Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt: The Saga Continues

What we wouldn't give to hear Lauren Conrad's take on this now.

According to the interview on The Daily Beast, Pratt and Montag are currently broke (having squandered away all their fame-whoring cash), unemployed (and really unemployable) and living rent-free at Pratt's parents' house. Apparently years of playing the best villains on reality television took a toll and caught up with the couple, who faked a wedding in Mexico but were then legally married in the US.

"We were all getting paid to be people we weren't for so long that you stop—there's no line," Spencer said. "The gauge is gone. The gray area is gone. We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine."

Now that they're on the other side of their reality show celebrity, Montag wishes things were different. Namely she wishes she hadn't completely altered her body head to toe in over ten plastic surgery procedures that left her looking like someone else. Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt: The Saga Continues

"Obviously I wish I didn't do it," Heidi said. "I would go back and not have any surgery. It doesn't help. I got too caught up in Hollywood, being so into myself and my image. I don't regret anything, but if I could go back, I wouldn't do it."

Montag doesn't even communicate with her family anymore since marrying Pratt and spiraling so out of control.

"I don't even want to talk about [my family]," she said. "I have Spencer and my puppies. That's my support system."

Said Pratt: "This isn't a business. That was the big thing I didn't get: Reality TV is not a career. Anyone who says, 'Oh, you can have a career in reality'—that is a lie." Heidi and Spencer Regret New Reality Show
