About Lynn Nelson
Lynn Nelson is the owner of the Holistic Mental Health Clinic in St. Petersburg, Fl. She and her staff specialize in providing holistic treatments for mental health. She is certified in Brain Health Coaching by the Amen Clinics and uses Dr. Daniel Amen’s method in understanding brain function to better target treatment for mental health issues.
Her framework is “we are spiritual beings inhabiting a body who must use the organ of the brain to operate in this time/space reality”. Brain science is explaining we are far more powerful in our ability to develop our brain to function better. She teaches holistic methods to gain control of the brain in order to steer in the direction of health and wellbeing.
“Dr. Amen tells us ‘there are more neurons in our brain than there are stars in the universe’ and I believe this is what God meant when He said we are created in His image. He equipped us with an organ that due to neuroplasticity is malleable. We, who we are spiritually/energetically, are the outside influence that has the capacity to develop our brain and create our internal environment. Through focused attention on creating a healthy internal environment, in time we create our own universe.
