Reality cannot compare.

If there's one place where we are totally free, it's in our minds. No one can police us there, and no one can judge us for what goes on there. Not unless we invite them in, of course, which we never do... hopefully.
We keep our dreams, whether waking or sleeping, in our private fortress, and it's in there that we nurture those thoughts and dreams into either fruition or destruction. What we dream about when we are sleeping may be entirely different than what goes in our waking state, alas, as it's still our mind doing the computing.
And depending on the aspects in astrology, what the zodiac signs dream about differs from person to person. Each sign of the zodiac is prone to certain types of dream. Dreams may be aspirations or nightmares, and sometimes even living nightmares.
What we dream about "one day" is different than what we dreamt of "last night"; however, we are the dreamers, no matter what state of consciousness is being considered.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
In sleep, Aries dreams of violence, of being killed, of being forcefully put to an end. In waking life, they dream of winning arguments, achieving great success at work, and of being known for what they do.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
In sleep, Taurus dreams of body parts, horror, and rebirth. In waking life, they dream ambitiously of raking in tons of money and living the good life, no matter how they make it happen.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
In sleep, Gemini dreams of body pain and excuses to stay put. In waking life, they dream of traveling and getting past the thousand and one things that keep them in one place.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
In sleep, Cancer dreams of perfect love and heartbreak. In real life, they dream of great gatherings and being the center of attention, for the purpose of uplifting people.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
In sleep, Leo dreams of world domination and the spotlight, while in real life their dreams are more along the lines of acquiring as many toys as possible.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo dreams of being fired, being cut off, being dismissed. In waking life, they dream of travel, cruises on water, and anything that continues on and on without the fear of ending.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
In sleep, Libra is a vivid dreamer of much horror, gore and fantasy. In real life, Libra's dreams are far less dramatic and more along the lines of seeing what's new on the shelves at the local Target.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
In sleep, Scorpio dreams of being out of control, panic and chaos. In real life, they restore those nightmares with real-life situations of controlled mania. They dream of control around the clock.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius dreams of being imprisoned because they fear having their freedom taken away. In real life, they dream of getting up the nerve to go to the store for juice.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
At night, the Capricorn dream is about work the next day. At work the next day, the dream is about... work the day after that. Basically, Capricorn dreams about work, even during work.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
In sleep, Aquarius dreams about sex. In their waking life, they dream about not having sex. Mainly with their spouse, who they usually hate enough to give them dreams about having sex... with someone else.
PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
Deep sleeping, Pisces is dreaming about family. When awake, the dream is all about how much better other people's families are and what they can do to pursue that goal. "Oh joy," screams the family of Pisces as they know what they're in for.
