Pisces and Sagittarius Team Up To Open Our Eyes This Week
Love, Zodiac

Brighter days are here.

March 15th will seem like the light at the end of a long tunnel, thanks to the positive and futuristic thinking of two transits in astrology. The first transit is the much talked about cazimi: Sun conjunct Mercury, with both Mercury in Pisces and Sun in Pisces; the second transit is Mercury square Jupiter, again with Mercury in Pisces and Jupiter in Sagittarius.

Both aspects are occurring on the same day and, ironically, like the eye of a hurricane will provide a bright spot in a possibly otherwise dark or difficult month. While these are one-day events, we won’t see similar transits until later in April and May, so these energies of clarity and positivity will linger with us through the next several weeks.

It’s important for our zodiac signs to make the most of these energies, as they will impact our love horoscopes and personal lives, especially.

But nothing will just happen to you; we need to be active participants in our lives. So while the astrology is beneficial, we still need to put in the effort to make something of it.

A cazimi is when a planet forms an exact conjunction with the Sun, often even within one degree of one another. The 15th is roughly halfway through our first Mercury retrograde of the year, and when Mercury crosses into the heart of the Sun (which is where the name cazimi originates), the planet of communication and thinking will begin a brand new four-month cycle. It’s the point that he restarts, he’s cleansed, and he’s ready to begin anew.

This cazimi is in Pisces. It’s in the twelfth sign of the zodiac and is arguably the most intuitive. Pisces don’t just wear their hearts on their sleeves, but their emotions in their usually deep eyes. Pisces live with an open heart, they forgive and they love unconditionally. Mercury is starting over — not just within the heart of the Sun, but within the zodiac as well.

We’ve been living a bit blocked off since last fall, and while it’s normal and was bound to happen based on what our Venus retrograde did to our romantic lives, we can’t exist like that permanently. We can’t close ourselves off from love and expect to still keep living our best lives.

We can’t forget that whether we want to fall into crazy romantic love or not, we still need to live with an open heart. We still need to be in touch with our deepest feelings, emotions, and our truth.

Pisces always seems to help us get to the heart of the matter, and this time is no exception. We may have been resisting what is already there. We may have been denying our feelings, hiding from our truth, or pretending that we can just pick ourselves up and leave behind any emotional connections to others.

If we think about it, the first half of Mercury retrograde might have seen us doing just that. It’s like the experiences we were having were due in large part to our own denial, to us working through what we felt, and what we were thinking about.

For many of us, the first few weeks of this retrograde raised big issues, including those involving matters of the heart that we had to work out on our own. Around the time of the 15th, we'll see the light — quite literally in some ways.

We may suddenly realize our true feelings, we may suddenly decide to contact that person we haven’t stopped thinking about, and maybe we might choose to forget all the reasons why it wouldn't work and instead look for the one reason that it would.

We’re going to feel like something clicked, or that we found our long-lost puzzle piece, but it's going to seem like finally we are on the right track and that e didn’t mess things up as we previously told ourselves. In this case, Mercury is going to restart, show us the light, and then give us the next four months to work through this new cycle of what it means to not be closed down.

Thanks to Jupiter square Mercury though, we’re also going to get a big dose of positivity and confidence. The same day as the conjunction/cazimi, we will see Jupiter in Sagittarius square Mercury in Pisces, which, while normally a square can be a more stressful aspect, because of Jupiter’s exuberance, it’s a positive aspect that will have us feeling like we are breathing freely and seeing things as they are.

If Pisces is unconditional love and intuitiveness, then Sagittarius is spirituality and far-seeing. Together, these two signs, with the help of Mercury and Jupiter, will have us getting in touch with what we’ve been going through, and enable us to see it in a positive light so we can make the most of it.

With Mercury currently in retrograde, this could mean that we could see some exes returning or relationships getting rekindled. While sometimes Mercury brings breakups, it’s unlikely during this time, except in the rare cases where it’s to leave someone to run into another’s arms.

This will bring some sudden realizations. But just remember that those feelings, thoughts, and desires aren’t new and likely have been swimming around since last fall.

We sometimes make things more complicated than they need to be. We overthink, overanalyze, and in the meantime make a mess of love, our lives and even relationships. But those situations that are meant to work out, will.

It may not be on our time, but it will happen, so all we can do is let the truth in, smile, breathe, and know we are exactly where we’re meant to be. And whatever else is unknown will figure itself out.
