Remember the "Cash Me Ousside" girl"? She has a new name and a record contract.

Who is Bhad Bhabie? Once upon a time, people got famous for being spectacularly good at things. Mohammed Ali was the greatest boxer of all time. Meryl Streep sleeps on a pile of acting awards handed over because she's so talented. J.K. Rowling writes book that people waited in line at midnight to get.

But that's soooooo 20th Century, don't you think? Nowadays, all you need to catapult to fame is a viral video clip and very little shame.

Which brings us to Danielle Bregoli, once known as the Cash Me Ousside girl, now going by the moniker Bhad Bhabie. Bregoli's assent to the heights of social media notoriety started with a clip from the Dr. Phil Show in 2016. Her mom brought her on the episode, titled "I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime", to discuss all the car stealing, knife wielding, twerking, and crime framing.

Danielle responded to criticism of her bad behavior — and her marble-mouthed enunciation — by admonishing the audience to "Cash me outside, how 'bout dah?". The clip quickly became ubiquitous on YouTube and other social media platforms.

In a normal world, that would have been the last we heard of Danielle until Dr. Phil called her up for a "Where Are They Now" episode. But in the world we live in, being a juvenile delinquent on a talk show is a first stop on the road to fame and fortune. Danielle is now a recording artist calling herself Bhad Bhabie. Here's what you need to know about this hip-hop sensation.

1. The Dr. Phil Show wasn't the end of her problem child phase.

As we learned on Dr. Phil, Danielle had been getting into quite a lot of trouble before her TV appearance. To try and fix the problem, the TV doctor paid for her to go to Turn-About Ranch, a treatment program for troubled teens. He brought her back on his show to talk about the experience and she demonstrated that even a reform ranch didn't curb her attitude.

2. She kept getting in trouble.

Six months after her second Dr. Phil appearance, she was sentenced to five years probation for four different arrests. She had been accused of stealing her mother’s purse and car and falsely reporting to police that her mother was using heroin by spreading powdered sugar on a bathroom countertop yo fool the cops. She eventually pleaded guilty last month to charges of grand theft, marijuana possession and filing a false police report. She reportedly broke down crying in court at her sentencing

3. Like mother, like daughter.

Her mom blamed Danielle's attitude on "the streets" in the first Dr. Phil appearance but she may have had more influence on her daughter than we originally knew. Danielle and mom Barbara Ann were boarding a plane when her mom got into an argument with another passenger. The altercation resulted in Danielle punching the other woman. All three of them were banned from Spirit Airlines for life.

4. Now she's a rapper.

After all the talk shows and airplane fight, Bregoli apparently decided it was time for a new career and remade herself as hip-hop artist Bhad Bhabie. Shortly after her court appearance in 2017, she released her first single "These Heaux". Oddly enough, the track was pretty popular and she became the youngest female rapper to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The video currently has over 66 million views on YouTube.

5. She landed a record deal.

Atlantic Records signed Bregoli as Bhad Bhabie in 2017 after "These Heaux" was released. The deal is for multiple records and is worth millions. Since then, she's dropped several other single, including her newest called "Gucci Flip Flops".

6. She paid off her mom's house.

After she got the money from the record deal, she did a really sweet thing and paid off her mom's mortgage for Christmas. With the words "Merry Christmas, b*tch!" she handed her mom a card and even moved the camera off herself long enough to record Barbara Ann's tearful response.

7. But she dissed her dad ... big time.

While Bregoli's mom has been right beside her in her journey to notoriety, her dad has been much more critical. Dad's name is Ira Peskowitz and he's a sheriff's deputy in Palm Beach who hasn't been thrilled with the direction his daughter's life has taken, saying "I’m afraid of what she’s being pushed into and who’s profiting from it.” In 2018, Danielle went to court to remove his name form her birth certificate. He agreed to waive all parental rights, including custody and child support.

8. She's still brawling.

In April, she got into a baffling and click-worthy beef with two other YouTube stars. Allegedly, 18-year old YouTuber Woah Vickie used a derogatory word to describe one of Bregoli's friends. Bregoli responded by confronting her in person and trying to goad her and another YouTuber named Lil Tay — who is nine years old — into a fight. They all yelled at each other for a while before dispersing.

9. Is a reality show next?

Bregoli is currently on a tour called the "Bhanned in the USA" tour. Once that wraps, she may be headed to the small screen. She bailed on a previous reality tv deal to pursue music. Now shes signed with a production company to do a docu-series about her music career. Reportedly, her first concert was filmed as part of the pilot. It seems like there's no end to this unlikely rags to riches story. Stay tuned to see where Bhad Bhabie winds up next.
