Despite the fact that we live in a very jaded world, a world in which having hope can feel like a lost cause, there’s still room for romantics, especially the hopeless romantic zodiac signs.
Granted, they’re few and far between, and difficult to come by. But if you look hard enough, as in picking things up and moving things out of the way, you’ll find the romantics out there — and, if you’re lucky, or check your horoscope and use astrology as a guide, you’ll find a hopeless romantic like the following who literally can't live without love.
Most Romantic Zodiac Signs
1. Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Of all the zodiac signs, the most romantic of all is Cancer. Not only does Cancer love to love love, but it's their deep concern for others that makes loving, for them, easy.
This isn’t to suggest that they’re whimsical with their love, but it does say that those who are born under this particular zodiac sign as far more likely than any other sign to fall in love multiple times throughout their lifetime. It’s just how their head and heart are programmed.
2. Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Pisces in love is a pile of mush — and it’s beautiful. Pisces loves deeply and love so often (although not quite as often as Cancer) that they’re susceptible to heartbreak.
But while some zodiac signs might try to avoid heartbreak as much as possible, Pisces chalks it up to collateral damage and continues to toss themselves into it. It’s a risk to love, and Pisces knows that, but it’s also a risk they don’t mind taking.
3. Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
We may think of Virgo as the most innocent of the zodiac signs, so maybe love is something they don’t really understand, but that’s not exactly true. It’s because of Virgo’s innocence that they’re capable of love and loving.
They have one of the most open hearts in astrology and one must be open, with all veins and arteries exposed, if they want to experience real love. Virgo has definitely mastered this.
4. Libra (September 23 to October 22)
When it comes to being one of the hopeless romantic zodiac signs, Libra is not usually thought of being even remotely near this list. The problem is that Libra likes to keep their distance and play it close to the chest before they jump in with a profession of love.
Even when they’re with someone and they’re both in love so the environment is one of safety, Libra still plays coy. A Libra is likely to love someone more than anyone else ever could, but that someone might live their entire life and never even know it.
5. Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Pig-headed and stubborn, Taurus does not conjure up thoughts of lovey-dovey stuff, but Taurus is tricky like that. Yes, they can be a total pain, but when they’re in love they’re like a completely different person. They want to spend all their time with their love, shower them with gifts, and would even crawl over hot coals to make sure their love is happy.
To see Taurus in love is something else. It’s like coming across a unicorn and having your mind temporarily blown: it's weird and you never really believed it to be true, but you're damn happy you got a chance to see it at least once.
