5 New Details About Aubrey O’Day And Donald Trump Jr.’s Secret Affair And DJT Lyrics

She's low-key dropped multiple hints about their secret relationship.

Before our president became our president, he was the host of the infamous show The Apprentice. Naturally, this show gave way to a spin-off called Celebrity Apprentice on which Aubrey O’Day, former Danity Kane band member and reality TV alum, appeared as a contestant in the 2012 season.

Now, sources claim Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. and O’Day engaged in an affair after O’Day’s time on Celebrity Apprentice — and O’Day may have even written her "DJT" lyrics about their secret relationship.

1. Their affair lasted a few months.

According to Us Weekly, Trump Jr. and O’Day hit it off during her season of Celebrity Apprentice (on which Trump Jr. acted as an “advisor”), which began taping in 2011. A source claiming to be close to O’Day told Us Weekly, “things started up with Aubrey and Don Jr. toward the end of the taping,” lasting from the end of 2011 until March 2012. Page Six reports that the two often met in “various cities” and write love notes to each other.

2. Trump Jr. pursued her.

A source told Perez Hilton that Trump Jr. was the “aggressive” one in the affair, claiming he was the one who pursued O’Day, “telling her he loved her and wanted to be with her.” According to Us Weekly, O’Day only entered the relationship because Trump Jr. promised her things were ending with his wife, Vanessa. “Aubrey fell for him hard. She thought they were going to be together for real,” the source told Us Weekly.

While some sources claim Trump Sr. himself had to be the one to end the relationship, allegedly telling Trump Jr. to “knock it off,” Us Weekly reports that Trump Jr. ended the affair after his wife found emails between him and O’Day.

3. Trump Jr.’s wife almost divorced him over the affair.

Page Six reports that Trump Jr. and O’Day’s affair took place at the same time Vanessa was pregnant with their third child, and she was (unsurprisingly) “devastated” when she found out about the secret relationship. While the married couple managed to keep it together for six more years, a source told Page Six that the alleged affair “was the start of the downfall” of their marriage and that their marriage had in fact been “over long before Aubrey came along.”

4. O’Day hinted at the affair during 2016 presidential election.

Chances are we were all in our feels during Election Night in 2016, as was O’Day. As Trump Sr. was elected President, she tweeted, “I’m embarrassed to be an American.” According to Us Weekly, when fans called O’Day out for tweeting about the election but not speaking up during her tenure on Celebrity Apprentice, O’Day had a cryptic response. “My story I didn’t tell is worth millions now,” she allegedly wrote. With news about the alleged affair finally breaking, fans are speculating that this “story” is about her relationship with Trump Jr.

Despite claiming her story is “worth millions,” sources told Page Six that O’Day was truly in love with Trump Jr. and never once sought hush money from the Trump family or looked for payment for telling her story.

5. Are O’Day’s “DJT” lyrics about the affair?

In 2013, O’Day released the song “DJT” about a relationship that did not end well. While no part of the lyrics actually references the title of the song, they coincidentally match up with the letters in Trump Jr.’s initials (his middle name is John, like his father).

A closer look at the (cringey) lyrics leads one to believe the song is about their short-lived affair. The song features a phone conversation between O’Day and a man who talks about being torn between two worlds. O’Day starts:

I thought it was forever at the time but maybe I was lying to myself

Is that what you want? You want to believe that everything with me was a lie?

A fantasy? And you want to go back and live in the life that you had have forever?

To which the man replies, “I thought it was forever at the time, but maybe I was lying to myself...I’ll always want you and I’ll always wonder about it but it doesn’t matter because I have to stay here.”
