He was fired because of it.

David Eason went on a Twitter rampage about the LGBT community. His wife, "Team Mom" star Jenelle Evans, tried to calm the storm but ended up creating an even larger mess.

Eason, 29, took to Twitter to tell the world he wouldn’t want his three children hanging around gay or transgender people and fans were not having it.

Evans attempted to put out the fire by saying her husband is not homophobic but she basically hinted she was simply embarrassed the public found out.

Fans called for the "Teen Mom" couple to be fired and MTV came through.

Here is everything you need to know about Eason’s Twitter rant.

1. His homophobic comments came out of nowhere.

The tweet that prompted Eason to go off about the LGBT community had nothing to do with the LGBT community.

“Education is how we protect our kids. It starts with intentional parenting,” a user had tweeted, not knowing it would spark Eason’s homophobic rant.

Eason responded with, “And just what makes you think you have the right to tell me how to be a parent. Because you think you know me? LMAO, why don’t you tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals. Oh, I forgot, that’s supposed to be normal.”

2. His wife tried to defend him but made things worse.

"David didn't understand how offensive people would get or how Twitter even works,” Evans said when she spoke to TMZ. “Now that he realizes his voice is very strong within media/tabloids he has deactivated his account. He agrees he will keep his comments to himself from now on."

3. Her argument was “we know gay people.”

When coming to Eason’s defense, Evans said they know gay people and that he doesn’t act differently around them.

"David doesn't hate people from the LGBT community,” she told TMZ. “My old manager was gay and used to be one of me and Davids close friends. We attended Farrah's birthday in Miami with a lot of LGBT people there and he didn't act in any type of way. We went had a good time and left."

4. David has since deleted his Twitter.

He caused a scene on social media and decided to get rid of his Twitter altogether. Though it doesn’t make up for his rude tweets, it may prevent a future public outrage.

5. Evans apologized for her husband.

"We are sorry for the comments that were made," she told TMZ.

Although she apologized, fans are still outraged at Eason’s tweets.

6. The couple was already under fire for posting a photo with a gun right after the Florida school shooting.

Easton posted a photo of Evans aiming a rifle on Instagram the very same day 17 people were killed in Florida in a mass shooting.

The backlash the couple received was huge and a petition was even started because of the photo.

"I feel that after years and years of horrible mass gun violence at schools, and those who were the gun shooters who killed many innocent lives, wanting the attention from a gun with an act of violence — I think it’s really horrible Jenelle and her husband show the same traits as a mentally unstable killer, by wanting attention from a gun," Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham told InTouch.

7. Eason defended himself with insensitive expletives.

"What do you think I sit around all day watching TV to check the news before I post a picture… umm no b---h,” he commented on the post, referring to the mass shooting that killed 17 people on the same day he posted the photo.

8. A petition to fire the couple was started.

Fans created a petition on Change.org in order to get the couple taken off the show.

"David posted photos of his wife, Jenelle Eason, holding and aiming a rifle, the same weapon that the gunman used in the Florida massacre," the petition read. "When questioned on Twitter about why he would post such photos after this tragedy, he attacked several women, calling them 'b-----s' and 'h--s' and using other threatening and abusive language. These people need to be reprimanded for their actions. We urge all of you to sign this petition to get them removed from MTV and fired from Teen Mom 2."

9. MTV fired David Eason.

"David Eason's personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV," a network spokesperson said in a statement to E! News. "With six weeks left of production on 'Teen Mom 2', effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him."

MTV listened to fans and kicked Eason off the show.
