Now what?

This is where the real work begins. It's time to plan for the second date. When figuring out the ideal setting, you must keep several things in mind:

  • It must be different than the first.
    This is definitely a date killer if you follow the same script as the first one. If you met at a coffee shop or went out to dinner, you don't want to do that again. Then she will think that you have no creativity. You will want to show your date you're multi-dimensional.
  • The date must be memorable. 
    A lot of things can go wrong on a first date, especially since you are nervous. The second date should be perfect and memorable. You want to show her that you were actually were paying attention and some part of this date is catered to her interests. 
  • Find a date that is comfortable and fun.
    You really want to enjoy this date because this will help set up all future ones.

1. Plan every moment of the date.

It gives you the opportunity to be creative and less opportunity for her to be anxious about the date. Start out by sending an invitation with the itinerary. 

You don't have to include everything you do, but by including a schedule, it will let her you that you aren't afraid to take charge. 

2. Create a food challenge.

If you she likes pizza, ice cream, or any food for that matter, go to several restaurants in the area and rate which one is the best. This does several things.

One, it involves movement since you won't be stuck in one place. Two, it will allow your conversation to develop because the two of you will have to form an opinion on the choices you make. 

3. Sign up for a private lesson in your favorite sport.

This is perfect because not only will you find out if your date can tolerate your passion for sports, but you will also see if she is flexible learning new things.

Hiring an expert will help reduce the anxiety if she doesn't really understand the game. Plus, it will give you an opportunity to show her that you believe in teamwork.

4. Find an escape room challenge.

An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms.

This is great because it will help you understand how both of you deal with adversarial situations. Is she one who flies off at the handle the minute something goes wrong or is she able to take a simple misunderstanding in stride?

This is very important because as your relationship grows, there will be misunderstandings. How the two of you handle them will determine if your relationship survives. 

5. Create your own drive-in movie theater. 

Since you can watch movies smart device, it takes no thought to invite her over to watch a movie at your house or apartment. Instead, find a nice romantic spot and create your own drive-in movie.

This will show her that you are in no rush to get her into the bedroom. You're more concerned about fostering connection and chemistry.
