getty What are the things you’re most sensitive about? It could be something you’re ashamed of, or something that someone close to you did and you feel reflects badly on you.
Sometimes, these sensitive topics are known by everyone; other times, they’re too powerful to share, so we keep them quiet so no one can use it against us. We all have things we’re sensitive about, and when those things are brought up, we can get angry or embarrassed.
Every zodiac sign in astrology has their own issues they’re sensitive about, and sometimes they can be surprising.
You might not think that a certain sign known for their strength is sensitive about whether they’re strong enough. But there’s always a reason why someone is sensitive about an issue, and not everybody is willing to share why an action or word is so upsetting for them.
It can add pressure when someone else knows your sensitivities, and brings it up and won’t let it go. It may feel like you need to tread carefully or else an emotion-bomb will go off.
No one likes to have their personal actions from the past used against them. In fact, some stories are better left in the past, unsaid. Memories can be painful and personal, so here’s what each zodiac sign is sensitive about:
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are sensitive about how their decision-making process. If someone suggests they didn't put enough thought into making a decision or that they were too impulsive, Aries can get upset.
If Aries feels distressed, there's a chance they may lash out or say something they'll regret later. This zodiac sign can be arrogant, so questioning them on something as important as their decisions isn't a great idea.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taureans are sensitive about being thought of as too materialistic. There's nothing wrong with liking nice things, but Taurus feel as if they're being judged about the money they spend on things like art, home furnishings, or clothes.
They work hard, so why shouldn't they appreciate the fruits of their labor? Yes, Taurus will admit to being self-indulgent and buying expensive items on a whim, but they won't cop to being materialistic.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis are sensitive about being flakes. If they're not going to be able to make an event, they'll cancel, but they have the reputation for not being reliable.
Geminis may be late but it's not their intention to just not show up. They may have their sense of timeliness and tend to be flexible, but they resent it when people accuse them as having a lack of consistency.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are sensitive about being moody. Yes, they can be emotional, and sometimes their moods change rapidly, but that doesn't mean their emotions are out of control or are at the mercy of their feelings.
Cancers have self-control and don't appreciate when people make them out to be emotional messes. They feel their feelings and there's nothing wrong with that.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are sensitive about being thought of as too full of themselves. Yes, they enjoy being the center of attention, but that doesn't mean they don't consider other people or that they're self-centered. They can be both the star and the leader.
Leo cares about people, and it's not only in relation to themselves. They don't like it when people imply that their ego is so big that it gets in the way of their success.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are sensitive about what they don't know, which isn't a lot. It bothers them when they're challenged on their knowledge, or if they don't know how to do something.
The last thing you want to do is to make Virgo feel foolish or as if they're not one of the smartest people in the room. Virgos can get agitated if they think someone is trying to make them look stupid or helpless.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are sensitive about not doing enough. Everyone needs some downtime now and then, and Libras like to take time when they need it. But if someone implies they're lazy or not pulling their weight, their normally calm and pleasant demeanor will change.
Libras don't enjoy confrontation, so they may not confront the person who implied they were a lazy. But it will bother them.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are sensitive about being referred to as too intense or obsessed. They're passionate and feel things deeply, but that doesn't mean they're stalkers or go too far in their pursuit of love or revenge.
Scorpios resent it when people assume they're possessive or jealous just because they care deeply about people. They can handle their emotions and don't often lose control of them.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius are sensitive about people thinking they have commitment issues or never stick around long enough to set down roots. These individuals are like other people — they have long-term relationships, they set down roots, and they don't always have to be on the road.
They can have routines and not always have to be traveling to be happy. It's insulting to Sagittarius that people would assume they can't commit to someone.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are sensitive about being thought of as boring. Just because they tend to be dependable, cautious, and disciplined, it doesn't mean they aren't fun, lively, and spontaneous.
It's as if Capricorns have a bad reputation for being dull and too focused on their work to have a life. They tend to have a great sense of humor and a wild side to their personality. They can be unpredictable, and it hurts Capricorn to be written off as a downer.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is sensitive about being thought of as emotionless robots. They have feelings just like everyone else, they just don't feel the need to express them all the time.
Sometimes they can come off as aloof or cold, but that's just their way of dealing with things that may make them feel uncomfortable. If you accuse Aquarius of being a machine and not a human, you're sure to get a huge reaction.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are sensitive about being escapists. When something stresses Pisces out, they may retreat to the world inside their head. They have a rich fantasy life and often seek refuge in their imaginations.
It's not that they never stand up for themselves or handle their problems, but thinking about things in creative ways helps them to problem-solve by thinking outside the box. Pisces aren't trying to run from their problems, they just have their unique ways of coming up with solutions.
