Consider them the motivators of the zodiac.

Not everyone is cut out for the job of "do-gooder," especially when the job requires one to make sure others do the same. We all start out in life with good intentions, and most of us really do wish to see those we love, do well in this life.
In terms of astrology, there are some motivating zodiac signs who push others to do good, while some don't really care at all. Is there something ulterior involved in wanting others to do good? Is there a note of selfishness in wanting someone to perform well? Are we waiting around for kudos for our participation, perhaps credit for our efforts? Maybe a round of, "I couldn't have done it without you!"
Either way, a good deed done is a good deed done, and if someone pushes you to do good, then "it's all good."
In a way, wanting another to do good — to want to push them to do good — is very motherly of us. And honestly, we all do have motherly instincts. We want our children to thrive and find their way in the world, and some of us want our friends, coworkers and even enemies to do better than they have in the past.
1. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Ever the optimist, Sagittarius is not kidding when it comes to foreseeing a brilliant future — for themselves and for others. It's nothing for a Sagittarius to pump up a friend, just as it's no biggie to tell them they are loved.
This is a generous sign, most especially with words that come from the heart. So, if you need a mental-spiritual-emotional booster shot, it will be a Sagittarius who will come to your rescue with the necessary goods. When your world is a-okay, so is the world of the Sagittarius.
2. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
If Virgo loves you, then you're golden and cannot do wrong. This is interesting stuff, because Virgo loves very few people. However, if you are one of the lucky ones, then expect to be pushed to do your very best in all your endeavors.
Virgo partners are very helpful to their mates as they really and truly want to see them thrive. They do look for thanks, but who cares? It's nice to thank people!
3. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus is all about pep talks and making their friends go for the best life they can get. Taurus is the friend who never gives up on you — if you're down, it's Taurus who will make you see the hope that's there for you, even when you can't see it.
They will push you to get up and out, remind you how awesome you are, and will be there throughout the entire ride; they will not let you down and they will support your cause and your life in such a dependable way that you will know them as the best friend you have.
4. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is your friend and they will prove it to you by cooking for you, by listening to you during your darkest hour, and by asking you to come along with them wherever they go. But more than just being a friend, they will see what's good in you and they won't shut up about it.
They are generous with compliments, and want to see you shine and succeed in all of your glory. They want no kudos or credit for their help; they merely want to push you to the place where you will feel most comfortable to do your best.
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Nobody likes to see you succeed like Leo, and, yes, there might be an ulterior motive or two in there, but that wouldn't stop them from being your personal support system. They envision for you what you might not yourself; they see the future and can present it to you in a way that you'll want to sign on immediately for whatever they want.
They may not stick with you for the whole transformation, but they most certainly will inspire it because they want to see you succeed. They want to see you do good.
6. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio is a very deep, very thoughtful sign, and though they are often maligned as the "bad guy" of the zodiac, in truth, they are far from that. Part of what drives them is the thought of completion and success, and in a mate or a friend, that is exactly what they see for you.
They will stand by your side as your put your best effort in, and they will encourage you all the way. Scorpio does not want to see you fall, nor do they pray for your demise. They are your personal "rah-rah!" club, and when you do well, they are happy campers.
