How Each Of The Zodiac Signs Budget Their Money

getty If you know how to budget money, you're most likely smart about how you manage it, spend it, and save it up. When you’re on a budget, you’ve allocated a certain amount of funds to use for a task, such as buying groceries or spending it on a new computer. You don’t want to go over the amount, and it’s much better to shop smart and try to get as much bang for your buck as possible.
But not everyone knows how to budget money, especially if they are shopaholics or simply aren't "math people." And for the zodiac signs, it's important to consider astrology when we talk about what they do with their hard-earned money.
It can be a whole house of cards if you ignore your budget and continually overspend, because when you don’t have a clear idea of what money you have, you can find yourself in a big financial mess.
When you budget, you’re taking care of your money and are being sensible about it. You may splurge from time to time, but you’re careful and conscientious about the money you have coming in and going out.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
The good news is that Aries is amazing at their jobs and tend to make a lot of money. The bad news is that they're impulsive and make a lot of unplanned purchases.
They can follow a budget for a while, but if something tempts them, they're going to buy it. However, Aries will have a cap on the amount they spend for they don't want to be destitute. So if they're getting too close to their bank account dipping below a certain level, they will stop themselves.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus like beautiful things, like to indulge themselves, and enjoy their possessions. They work extremely hard and are good at making money, but they're even better at spending it.
They tend to have trouble with budgets; they don't want anyone telling them they can't have something, or that they can't buy something extravagant for somebody else. Taurus are generous and enjoy buying gifts for others.
Luckily, they do have an inner money manager, so if things are getting too tight, they will put the brakes on spending. But they do have to come close before they sense financial danger.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
There's a part of Gemini that's very practical and fiscally sound, and there's the part that likes to gamble and take chances with their money. There's no predicting when each side will dominate.
Gemini might be really good about saving their money, spending wisely, and then, out of the blue, do something foolish such as buying an unproven stock or investing in a shaky business.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
It's all about the nest egg for Cancers, making sure they have a solid financial foundation, and a secure and comfortable home. They don't spend money impulsively. If they are planning on making a big purchase like furniture or a new bed, they'll do research and make sure they get the best deal.
They will budget and save for major purchases. Cancers never want to fear that their house might be foreclosed or they could be evicted, because if those things happened, their whole world would fall apart.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are great at budgeting. They'll save until they have more than enough to buy what they want, which is a good talent to have because Leos have expensive taste and love to shop.
Leos are also great at working hard, making money, and advancing in their job. They tend to not buy things they can't afford. No matter how rich a Leo is, they're still going to use money-saving apps, coupons, and any discount they can get.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
If anyone knows how to budget, it's Virgo. They tend to be frugal and really don't like spending money if they don't have to. However, they don't like depriving themselves and will occasionally treat themselves to a nice meal, new shoes, or whatever they've been coveting.
Virgos keep an eye on where their money goes, and they look for ways to improve on their finances.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras have an internal sense of balance, so they may not need to have a "budget" per se, but they will definitely make sure they're not overspending or treating themselves well. Libras love to spend money on things such as treating their friends to dinner, vacations, clothes, and beauty.
On the flip side, Libra is always conscious of their cushion and want to make sure they have funds set aside for that rainy day that could occur at any time.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are good with money, but it's not because they're good at saving it. They are good at finding the get-rich-quick schemes that actually pan out or the longshot investments that pay incredible dividends.
Scorpios know how to work the system so it pays off for them. It's kind of spooky how they just know where to put their money so they get a huge payoff.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians have an easy relationship with money and tend to not sweat the small stuff. They work hard and seem to know all the tools that make budgeting easier. They save their money for travel and having new experiences.
These individuals will adjust their budgets as needed and tend not to feel controlled by them. Sagittarians aren't focused on money, just what money will allow them to do.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are born to budget as they're very careful with their money. They're hardworking, practical, and focused. One of their major goals is to be financially secure, and they start working on achieving that early.
They're great at saving, don't understand the concept of an impulse buy, and are thoughtful in their purchasing. Capricorns will splurge from time to time because they do like luxury and items that double as the fruits of their labor. But if it's an expensive item, Capricorn will put money away and budget for it.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Much of Aquarius' money goes to charitable causes, which is fantastic since they also tend to be genius entrepreneurs. They are ambitious, brilliant, and hardworking. They're the ones who make the innovations that make life better and easier.
Aquarians make a lot of money and do a lot of good with it. They wouldn't be able to sleep at night if they didn't give back.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces like spending money, especially on things like art, music, theater, and museums. They're not super-thrifty and aren't always comfortable with being on a budget.
However, if staying on a budget keeps a roof over their head, food on the table, and gives them a little extra to help others, they will follow a budget. It's about using a budget to help, not to make them feel as if they have no control over their lives.
