She's out for blood.

Divorce is hard enough. Divorce involving children is even harder. Divorce involving (six!) children of two of the most famous people in the world is awful. When they split in September 2016 it was sudden and shocked the world. At first there were ugly barbs flying back and forth, but soon Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie entered divorce mediation and mostly kept their negotiations private. That is no longer the case.

Last week, Angelina claimed that Brad has not paid any “meaningful” child support during their acrimonious split. In a classic case of he said/she said, Pitt’s attorneys can prove that he has paid over $9 million to his ex since they split and that Jolie’s claims are a “thinly veiled effort to manipulate media coverage.” Now Brad is accusing Angelina of purposefully airing their dirty laundry to the media to cause him more harm and damage. In short, it has gotten ugly between the former couple. Let's take a look at all of the worst details of the divorce of Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt split.

1. The child support

So what exactly is going on with Jolie's claims that Pitt hasn't paid any "meaningful" child support in the nearly two years since their September 2016 split? Legal filings show that Pitt loaned Jolie $8 million to buy her current house. He has also paid more than $1.3 million in bills for Jolie and their six children. Pitt’s attorneys are accusing Jolie of attempting to increase the conflict. Jolie’s lawyers’ legal filing claims that Pitt hasn’t paid any child support in 18 months.

Jolie’s filing says, “Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO for the establishment of a retroactive child support order.” Jolie has also said that a loan is not child support and that she is paying back the $8 million with interest.

2. What's the significance of an RFO?

Jolie filing an RFO — request for orders — is an unusual move because it would require Jolie to make her finances public if she is asking for child support through the court system. People who are famous usually handle these matters in private arbitration to keep their financial details and other details — such as where the kids go to school — away from pubic knowledge. If Jolie wants to follow through on her threats, she has to file an RFO: request for orders. That will start a child support process in which both parties would need to prove why they needed support. Jolie’s attorneys have indicated that she intends to file an RFO.

3. Brad's reaction

Brad reportedly finds Jolie's move to make their divorce details so public disgusting. According to The Blast, Brad believes things should remain private and finds the public battle to be “disgusting.” Brad feels this is hurting the kids and wants Angelina to stop the public fighting. Pitt and Jolie are also moving towards finalizing the divorce before they’ve settled their custody and financial issues.

A spokesperson for Jolie said her filing on this matter was intended “to provide closure on the marriage in a way that clears a path towards the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children." Pitt’s attorneys said that he was the one who told Jolie he intended to file for the bifurcation of their marriage. He said Jolie asked him to wait a week before filing and then she instructed her attorneys to file the bifurcation the next day to get the jump on him.

4. Palimony suit?

Jolie and Pitt got married in 2014 after 10 years together. Reports have surfaced Jolie may be intending to file a palimony suit to go after more of Brad's money than she'd normally be entitled to given how short their legal marriage was. She reportedly wants to go after the money he earned during their entire relationship.

5. Custody and Visitation

At issue of late is the custody and visitation arrangements for their six children. In late September 2016, Jolie was granted temporary full custody of the couple's six children after recommendation from the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services. The DCFS has launched an investigation into whether Pitt as abusive to Maddox on a private flight earlier that month. The former couple reached a custody agreement in November that Pitt would have supervised visitation. Pitt was eventually cleared of all allegations and charges against him. However, Angelina was not allowing him to see the kids per the court-ordered agreement.

6.  Jolie could lose custody

In June, TMZ reported that Angelina was dangerously close to losing primary custody of her and Brad's kids because she was restricting the children's access to their father. A judge in the dictated that Brad must be allowed to call and text each child as much as he wants, without Angelina monitoring the conversations. He also laid out a timeline for Brad to spend time with his kids. If Angelina doesn't comply, she could lose custody.

7. What really happened on that plane?

Brad was accused of some sort of physical altercation with his then 15-year-old son during a 12 hour flight on a private plane from Nice to Los Angeles on September 14, 2016. He was allegedly drinking heavily on the flight. Jolie grew frustrated and asked him to sober up, according to a source.  Jolie hired cars to take her and the six kids to a hotel to diffuse the situation with Pitt.

She allegedly told him they could talk about everything in the morning. When they arrived in L.A., Angelina and the kids piled in cars and locked the doors. Pitt got in a separate car, without his family. Soon after, allegations that Pitt and Maddox had some sort of altercation surfaced. Pitt was investigated for child abuse and cleared of all charges. Jolie filed for divorce five days after that fateful flight.

8. Angelina's attorney quit

In early August, Jolie's attorney Laura Wasser allegedly quit because the actress was too hostile and venomous. Sources close to Pitt reported that Angelina was out to "kill any relationship he has with his kids." Wasser, who has handled the divorces of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, and Heidi Klum and Seal, advocates for settlements that promote co-parenting. Reports say that Wasser got fed up with Jolie's ridiculous unreasonableness.

9. Angelina out for blood

Earlier this month TMZ  reported that Angelina has been out for blood and fueled by anger. The former couple is nowhere near settling their custody agreement and Angelina is approaching the situation like it's an all-out war.
