Kendra Wilkinson confirmed the divorce in a weepy Instagram post.

Are Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett divorcing? Sadly, the divorce rumors seem to be true. The former Playboy playmate took to her Instagram stories to share a series of emotionally-charged posts this Monday as she prepares to divorce from her husband of almost 9 years, Hank Baskett.

Warning: They are heartbreaking.

"10 years. I did everything I could," she says in her Instagram story. "It wasn't good enough. I will always love him. My heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever I really did. Guess it's just not meant to be. I'm so scared but I have to get strong for my kids. I will."

She then continues, "Thank you to all my friends and family for supporting me at the moment. Every little ounce of love helps. Thank you."

At the end of her video, she says, "I never thought I'd see the day, really. She also shared a photo from their wedding day and wrote "I believed."

Wilkinson also took to Twitter to share the news:

The couple, who are parents to  8-year-old son, Hank IV and 3 year-old daughter, Alijah, have come close to their breaking point several times throughout their marriage.

Here’s how we knew it was only a matter of time before Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett divorced:

1. Kendra revealed that she suffered from postpartum depression for almost two years.

The reveal came in her 2011 memoir, Being Kendra: Cribs, Cocktails and Getting My Sexy Back. "I felt devastated, helpless—like I was in a black hole," she wrote, recalling the times she would hide in a closet to "scream and cry.”

2. The former Playboy Playmate also admitted that at her worst times, she and Hank slept in separate bedrooms.

"There was no way I could talk about what I was feeling because I didn't know what it was," she wrote. "So we just had to stay apart."

3. Kendra also revealed that she would get angry at Hank as she struggled to explain what she was really feeling, so nothing would get resolved.

In a good marriage, communication is everything.

4. In 2015, Baskett admitted that he, too, fell into a deep depression after his football career ended and turned to drugs, alcohol and partying.

All while his wife was pregnant with their second child. "I fell into what happens to a lot of professional athletes who change careers. It hit me, and it hit hard,” he told People.

5. During an exclusive in-depth interview with Giuliana Rancic, Kendra admitted to not being emotionally there for Hank when he really needed her.

Could that be why he turned to drugs and partying?

6. After their daughter Alijah was born, Baskett was said to have stepped out on Kendra.

She apparently flushed her wedding ring down the toilet and kicked him out of the house. Once you disrespect each other there’s no turning back.

7. Last and certainly not least, Hank’s alleged affair with a transgender model in 2014 while Kendra was eight months pregnant.

“I messed up,” a teary-eyed Baskett tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I put myself in a bad situation. And everything through me brought pain upon this family.” There was really no turning back after that one.

UPDATED: Kendra confirmed the divorce in an Instagram post on Friday, saying "Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man. I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way. We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile. Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it’s true love well in this case it’s me. I want to see happy Hank again... i miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real. U will prob see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate. Love wins in this case it’s just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed."
