What Drives Each Zodiac Sign Absolutely Bonkers
It's the small things that irk you most.
getty Everybody's got a "thing" — and by "thing," I'm talking about that one thing that ticks them off to no end. You may be one of the annoyed zodiac signs who is so constantly irritated, not even an uplifting horoscope or astrology transit can calm you down.
It could be a pet peeve, or it could be something really specific and compulsive like, "I cannot stand the way he sounds when he chews!" Mouth noises bug certain people almost to the point of suicide, so I've learned. And for others, well... there's the intolerance that goes along with trying to deal with that thing you absolutely can't deal with!
Our zodiac sign is a big player in how we perceive that which might annoy us. While one person might want to tear their hair out witnessing someone cut their nails in public, another might go into spasms of intolerance and annoyance over another person disagreeing with them. It's all a matter of perception; some flow like water seeking a level, and some bang their head against the rocks over and over.
Depending on where our sign falls, we may be prone to annoyance over just about anything. But here's a list of some very specific ways each zodiac sign can be annoyed.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
What annoys Aries the most is losing. A game, a bet, a guess... they don't want to know that "that show" isn't on that channel; they want to know that it is on that channel.
Aries can't take any kind of contradiction, and it annoys them to no end when someone else in the world thinks they're right when obviously only Aries can be right — even if you agree with them!
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Not being listened to is what bugs Taurus to the point of insanity. These folks are seriously into communication, and they honor the idea that in order for an idea to come to light, someone else has to actually listen to the other person speak.
So, Taurus is a real stickler for being heard, and if they detect that you've checked out and are only phoning in your interest in what they're saying, they will walk out on you, frustrated and incredibly annoyed.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
What annoys Gemini the most is being Gemini. Oh, I know that sounds complex, but when you break it down, what annoys them is their own reaction to the world around them. Being dualistic in nature makes Gemini indecisive, and the idea that they can never make up their own mind actually really bothers them.
Their biggest annoyance is having to make a decision because they know at the start that they will have difficulty doing this.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer gets seriously peeved when you pay attention to someone else during the time they believe you're supposed to be paying attention to them. This could look like extreme jealousy over a wandering eye, or a pouty intolerant look given to a friend for not paying attention to them.
Whereas one might find it rude, Cancer considers your wandering eye and mind downright criminal and will sulk for hours in annoyance.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo cannot stand being contradicted. Much like Aries, they need to be right, but in Leo's case, they can turn really ferocious when they detect that you're not completely smitten with everything they say.
Their behavior can be ego-driven and arrogant, and their selfishness is beyond anything anyone can tolerate. But they themselves are intolerant of being questioned, doubted or not believed in — like a religion.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Basically, there's nothing that doesn't annoy Virgo. So, name it. Yep, they hate that. Name another thing. Yep, they hate that too. Virgo is the most intolerant sign of the Zodiac, but truly, if there's one thing that annoys them more than anything else in the universe, it's you.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Imbalance really perturbs Libra. They need the balance, they need things to go smoothly. When suddenly and impulsively, a fork in the road appears on the road of life, they panic; spontaneity is hard for Libra as they are all control freaks of the highest order.
What annoys Libra usually boils down to them seeing an injustice that has gone unpunished. The injustice is one thing, but the inability to restore it? That's what destroys the sanity of a Libra.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
What really ticks off a Scorpio is lack of integrity. Don't show up late if you're going to meet a Scorpio, as they will blast you a new one the second you show up.
Scorpio not only likes control, but they use control to make their lives work well. So, all plans must be tended to in a timely fashion, and all things in their lives must run like clockwork. Be on time!
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Lies. Oh, just don't lie to a Sagittarius. I mean, nobody likes being lied to, but for a Sag, it's different. Truth and honesty is like religion to these people. You tell the truth and it's assumed your word is good.
If you lie, you will not only set them off into major annoyance mode, you will crush your chances of ever, ever, ever being trusted by them again. And not trusting a friend — that is what would annoy a Sagittarius the most.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Sitting around doing nothing. Not just sitting around, but sitting around while something important is happening and not being able to help or do something about it. Capricorn wants to be involved; they want to play a part in the healing of the planet or simply the championing of someone who fell on hard times.
If they are somehow restricted, repressed or unable to chime in, they feel this ghastly annoyance in the pit of their stomachs. Capricorns are doers, not dwindlers.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Another sign where independence rules, these people find themselves very annoyed by anything or anyone who tries to take away their choice. They will always opt for choice, and if they feel cornered or expected of, they will rebel and walk away.
Their annoyance is profound and if you are someone who got in the way of their freedom or their choice, know that you will be losing them as a friend.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces is pretty simple when it comes to what annoys the living crap out of them: rudeness. You eat their food, you say thank you. You don't say thank you, and boy oh boy will Pisces read you the riot act.
Pisces runs on ceremony; they expect certain things to run smoothly and according to plan, and when their shining moment is ruined by someone's rude comment or inappropriate behavior, poof goes that person, because the wrath of Pisces is a hell of an annoying place to be.
