How 'healthy' is our 45th President?

Ever wondered how healthy President Donald Trump really is? You wouldn't be the only one.

In fact, many have questioned the President's mental health after the recent publication of Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff suggested Trump's own aides worry about his stability. Trump, of course, used his favorite tool — Twitter — to tweet out that he was a "very stable genius" amid reports over the authenticity of the controversial book.

Well thanks to Trump's White House physician, he was recently declared as in “excellent health” after receiving his first medical checkup as 45th President of the United States at Walter Reed military hospital.

Ahead of the exam, the White House stated tests for mental acuity would not be included.

So what does "excellent health" mean exactly? Dr. Ronny Jackson, Trump’s military physician, offered a live hour-long briefing of the president’s recent physical exam outside the White House on Tuesday after various reports of a decline in Trump's health. According to Jackson, "his cardiac performance during his physical exam was very good, he continues to enjoy the significant, long-term cardiac and overall health benefits that come from a lifetime of abstinence from tobacco and alcohol."

He continued by stating, "all data indicates the president is healthy and will remain so for the duration of his presidency," Jackson added. You can check out a clip of the briefing below.

So by the White House Doctor's standards, President Trump is well-equipped to run the oval office and all the stressful responsibilities it carries, but let's take a closer look at his exam. Here are the most important details from Trump's physical and mental health report.

1. He's SUPER close to being classified as "obese".

The 239-pound, 6 foot 3 president is literally one pound away from being considered obese, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's body mass index calculator. According to Dr. Jackson, he set up a diet and exercise plan for Trump to lose 10-15 pounds.

2. The President is NOT looking forward to exercising.

Dr. Jackson stated that Trump's "more enthusiastic about the diet part than the exercise part, but we're going to do both,". This diet includes an in-house nutritionist who has been brought in to consult with the White House chefs on limiting Trump's intake of calories, including cutting fats and carbohydrates. The White House gym is also being renovated to Trump's specific needs.

3. Trump's mental health is stable.

The doctor happily told reporters Trump scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, which is a cognitive screening test designed detect Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Jackson stated this testing wasn't originally in the plan for the physical and isn't recommended by doctors for patients of Trump's age, but Trump himself insisted on being tested.

4. Trump's hair requires medication.

Jackson told reporters Trump takes Crestor for his cholesterol, a low dose of aspirin to prevent heart attacks, antibiotics to treat his skin rosacea, and Propecia for baldness.

5. Nothing in the health report was hidden from the public.

According to Jackson, undergoing this physical is voluntary, and Trump can pick and choose what the public hears and doesn't hear regarding his health. But apparently, there is "absolutely nothing" that is being withheld from the public and Trump's release of his health report is "hands down" the broadest in history.

So whether you believe it or not, Trump's health is not on the rocks, and we're stuck with him for a long time.
