The newest member of the Kardashian family has arrived.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's surrogate gave birth to a baby girl on Monday, January 15th 2017.

Kim K. announced that her brood would be growing with the addition of a third baby a while ago, and it seems like we've been waiting for an eternity for the newest member of the iconic family!

Kim's baby was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles early Monday morning — ironically around the same time people were wondering if Kylie Jenner was giving birth to her own alleged baby.

While the news is still pretty new and not much has been released yet, there are a few important things to know right now about Kimye's new baby.

1. It’s a girl.

Kim and Kanye welcomed another sweet baby girl to their family. The baby weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces. Kim made the announcement and issued a statement at the time of her baby's birth.

2. Kimye used a surrogate.

Kim had the baby via a surrogate because Kim has placenta accreta, a condition that could make having another pregnancy life-threatening. So, Kimye found their surrogate through an agency. They paid $45,000 split into 10 monthly installments of $4,500. They were also required to pay a $68,850 deposit.

3. Kimye's surrogate agreement was rather strict.

According to TMZ, the surrogate had to agree to more than a few rules. She was not allowed to drink, smoke, or do drugs during her pregnancy (obviously). In addition, the surrogate had to refrain from any sexual activity leading up to the pregnancy and had to abstain from all sexual intercourse for three weeks after the embryo was implanted.

And what about all the other things the surrogate couldn't do? These included no hot tubs or saunas, no hair dye, no handling or changing cat litter, no consumption of raw fish, and no more than one caffeinated beverage a day.

So, if you're looking to become Kimye's next surrogate you'll probably have to give up your sushi habit. Oh yeah, and your cat.

4. Kim was in the delivery room when her baby was born.

The proud mama was involved every step of the way during her surrogate's pregnancy, including being in the delivery room for the birth. TMZ reported that she was the first person to have skin-to-skin contact with her new daughter. The baby's daddy wasn't too far away, either. Kanya was reportedly in the room as well, but standing behind a curtain.

5. North gets to help pick Kimye's baby name.

Kim is keeping mum so far about the name of the baby, as she has in the past with her other two babies. It's okay if she hasn't thought of a name yet, though. She'll be getting a lot of help this time around as Kim and Kanye have enlisted their daughter, North to help in naming her new sister. Kim's only requirement is that the name is short and easy to spell. "I do like different name — but short, easy to spell, one syllable... That's kind of my vibe," she told Ellen DeGeneres.

Let's just hope that she doesn't suggest South or you know, West.

6. It happened on-the-low while rumors suggested Kylie was giving birth.

As we already know, Kim's sister Kylie Jenner is also rumored to be pregnant and many had even thought that she could have possibly been Kim's surrogate. Whatever their reasons, many have thought for a while now that Kylie was connected to Kim's third baby somehow. Of course, these rumors were further perpetuated when Kim's birth announcement happened so suddenly after new rumors came in of Kylie giving birth last Friday.

Whether or not this info about Kylie is true, we're still wishing Kim and Kanye's new bundle of joy all the best. Congrats, Kimye!
