Are you a neat freak, a complete slob, or somewhere in between?

If you can’t stand for anything to be out of place, even a speck of dust visible to the naked eye, and cleaning is the activity you do to relax, then you might be a neat freak. Even your horoscope can't reveal that level of detail in your life.
Cleanliness is important but not when you prize it above the other things in your life. If keeping a tidy house is your number one priority over the happiness and comfort of your partner, you may be in trouble.
Are you someone who feels filthy if they don't take at least two showers a day? You might have high standards for your personal hygiene, but not so much when it comes to your environment.
Some people only clean when they know someone is coming over, while others always have their house in pristine order. We need to feel comfortable and safe in our homes, but there are times when our houses add to our anxiety. If no matter where you look, it’s a pigsty, then you may feel agitated and ill at ease, even if you’re used to messiness.
Generally, it’s a good idea to at least do a small amount of cleaning when it comes to your home; you don’t want bugs or rodents moving in — it's challenging enough living with human roommates.

1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
While not every Virgo individual is a neat freak, the ones who aren't aspire to be. If a Virgo is talking to you and they suddenly get up and grab a dust cloth and start cleaning, don't take it personally. Virgos on are high dirt-alert. They're instinctual when it comes to things being out of place or dirty and they will obsess about it until it's been taken care of.
Virgos are the kind of cleanliness junkies who will follow guests around at a party, picking up after them, and they'll also do a thorough cleaning before their house cleaners arrive. As far as self-cleanliness goes, they're constantly showering — they shower in the morning, at night, after a workout, before sex, after sex, because it's hot, because it's cold, because they feel sweaty, and so on.
2. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns take all work seriously, even housework, making them at the top of the list of zodiac signs who are neat freaks. They like to have a spotless house, especially if someone is coming over. They like to make a list of what needs to be done so that nothing is forgotten.
In addition, they like to do the big jobs like cleaning the blinds, washing the windows, and cleaning out the cupboards on a fairly regular basis — spring cleaning comes six times of year for Capricorn. They're especially good at delegating the chores they don't enjoy.
3. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are the type of cleaner who get on a tear. If they're bored or they can't sleep, suddenly nothing seems as important as cleaning the oven. It's best for everyone concerned if people stay out of their way if they're in the middle of a cleaning rampage; they have very little patience and that nervous cleaning energy can cause them to lose it if someone interferes with their cleaning flow.
Aries are also personally very clean, though sometimes their clothing may not reflect that. They don't always have time to iron.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The personal hygiene of a Scorpio borders on obsessive, and they never feel clean enough. Scorpios are big believers in deep cleaning — body scrubs, facial masks, mud baths. Anything that promises to exfoliate or scrub away dirt and dead skin cells, Scorpio is interested in.
Scorpios also like to have a clean and tidy house, though they may be reticent in inviting other people over to see it. They're not embarrassed, they're just very private.
5. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
It's very important for the Cancer individual that their home be clean and tidy, and on the surface, it is. However, if you look at their closets, under their beds, their cupboards, and their junk drawers, you'll probably find that they haven't been cleaned or sorted in years.
Cancers tend to forget about things that aren't immediately obvious. However, they're very regular showerers — going for over 24 hours without a shower would make them exceedingly unhappy.
6. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras aren't neat freaks and they're not complete slobs either; they fall somewhere in between. A Libra will probably make their bed every day, wash the dishes regularly, but go far too long before cleaning out the vacuum filter. They do get motivated when someone is coming to visit or when a loved one makes a comment about their dirty car or windows.
They're fairly regular showerers but it's not unlikely for them to leave the house with a stain on their shirt or safety-pin where a button should be. Libras look at the big picture and sometimes lose sight of the tiny details of good grooming.
7. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis are also in the middle as far as cleaning goes. They will set out to do a big house cleaning but then will get distracted by a phone call or an interesting article in a magazine they were about to throw away.
Everything will be cleaned eventually or not, so there's no reason to get stressed about it. Since they do like to make a good impression, they keep themselves clean and well-groomed. There might be a hair out of place with a Gemini but that just adds to their charm.
8. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
It's not that Leos aren't clean, it's just that they have so many other things to do. It works best if they can afford to have someone clean their house on a regular basis. Of course, they want to look good all the time, so they shower quite often, especially after working out.
Leos sometimes can get so caught up in their overall look that they might miss the tiny details such as a dirt smudge on their cheek or how they really shouldn't have skipped washing their hair. That hat isn't fooling anybody.
9. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus would love to be obsessed with cleanliness and they do appreciate it when everything in their house is clean, tidy, and polished, but if it becomes a competition between self-care and cleaning, self-care is going to win hands down. The vacuuming can wait as it's more important for them to have a glass of wine and decompress.
Taureans are very diligent when it comes to showering and bathing. They enjoy having a lot of expensive bath oils and scrubs so they can have a spa day at home.
10. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces like to put off cleaning for as long as possible. Why waste so much energy on something that's just going to get dirty again? There are a million things that Pisces would rather do than clean.
Pisces have good hygiene; they shower regularly and brush their teeth every day but if they go out and there's a button missing on their shirt it's no big deal. If there's a stain on the front of their shirt, they'll just turn it around and wear it backward. Pisces are happy when they can infuse their routine with a little creativity.
11. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius thinks of themselves as quite neat and tidy, so they're completely surprised when their bedroom looks like a cyclone hit it. It doesn't take them long to mess up a living space.
Sagittarians can get bored easily and they tend to forget to do things like washing the breakfast dishes or taking out the garbage. Sagittarians like to look good, so they have good hygiene and are clean, but they might not shower every day.
12. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius will get a burst of energy and do some cleaning, but unfortunately, they don't get that burst that often. Aquarians try not to mess things up, so they don't understand how things can get dirty if they don't do anything to cause it. They enjoy things like Roombas where they can switch it on and forget about it.
There are some Aquarians whose personal cleanliness does have room for improvement. They get so caught up in their head when they're working on something that they may forget to take shower or shave. However, Aquarians are passionate about the environment and do a lot to clean up our beaches and forests.
