5 Things To Know About Tomi Lahren And Her Suspension

Tomi Lahren, 24, avid Trump supporter and viral provocateur might have finally gone too far left for her conservative followers and employer.

Known for her extreme republican views, she’s been known to compare the Black Lives Movement to the Klu Klux Klan, as shown below in a now since deleted tweet.

Tomi uses her TV show, Tomi, as a platform to call out the democrats, or “snowflakes,” as she so lovingly refers to the left.

The last 3 minutes of her show are dedicated to “Final Thoughts” or, more accurately, rants.

Here is one where she defends Sean Spicer after he was "harassed" at an Apple store:

It would be lovely if she could just remain at the top of her Ivory Tower but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
Tomi Lahren has been suspended from her own show at The Blaze, though her bosses hesitate to use the word suspension.
Here's what happened and what we know!
1. Tomi Lahren visits ABC's The View on March 17, 2017
During her talk at the round table with such notables as Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, Tomi revealed that she is pro-choice; a very highly debated topic that most hardcore republicans are most certainly against.

"I'm a constitutional—you know, someone that loves the constitution and I am someone that's for limited government, and so I can't sit here and be a hypocrite and say 'I'm for limited government, but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies.' I can sit here and say that, as a Republican, and I can say that, 'You know what, I'm for limited government, so stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well.'"

2. Tomi Lahren received a LOT of backlash for her comments.

Though Tomi seems as though she likes to make the news and be the star of the show, but I would bet she didn't expect this kind of reaction to her comment on being pro-choice.

And as reported by The Reagon Battalion (known for also releasing damning footage of another right wing conservative Milo Yiannopoulos), she only recently called abortion "baby killing."

3. The Blaze suspends production of Tomi for a week.

Glenn Beck spoke about the incident on his own radio show saying, "

“I would disagree that you’re a hypocrite if you want limited government and yet you want the government to protect life of the unborn. It’s very, very clear. But it takes intellectual honesty, and it takes a willingness to actually think these things through and to do more than just read Twitter or Facebook to get your news and your political opinions. You actually have to study things—these things out in your mind. Especially at a time period like today ... Bomb throwing is—bomb throwing in today’s world is dangerous. Freedom of speech, it’s not free. Speech isn’t free. It comes with a very high price tag. First, being intellectually honest and intellectually curious. Speech is not free. It comes with another cost and usually to the other people at the other end of your argument. The pen is mightier than the sword, and it can destroy people if your aim is clicks, views, and ratings.”

Though they haven't actually used the word "suspended," they are saying that Tomi will be out of production for at least a week.

4. Tomi Lahren fights back on Twitter.

Tomi is maintaining her views and refuses to take back what she said, despite the fact her future with The Blaze is in jeopardy.

It even seems like she has a sense of humor about the situation.

5. And of course, there's always two sides to a story!

According to TMZ, it looks like Glenn Beck had no choice but to can Tomi Lahren because the staff was on the "verge of a rebellion."

On the flip side, Tomi Lahren's followers just think Glenn Beck is jealous of the blonde beauty because she gets way more attention that he does, even on his own network.

Who's to say what's going to happen? Tomi Lahren's contract runs until September of 2017 but there's a chance her suspension could be permanent with either side deciding to end the terms early.

But that's too good to be true, right? I mean, first Milo gets the boot, now Tomi, AND Trump is under investigation? What is this? My birthday?
