'Fifty Shades' Friday: Melanie Griffith & Antonio Banderas Split!

'Fifty Shades' family drama: Dakota Johnson's mom, Melanie Griffith, split from Antonio Banderas!

Fifty Shades Of Grey has family drama more painful than the thought of your grandparents re-enacting scenes from Christian Grey's Red Room Of Pain: Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas split, which is probably causing some stress to Fifty Shades Of Grey movie star Dakota Johnson -- Melanie Griffith is her mom!

TMZ reports that Griffith, 56, filed for divorce from Banderas, 53, citing irreconcilable differences from the actor.

The couple have been married for 18 years since meeting on the set of the film Two Much. Griffith reportedly requested spousal and child support from Banderas, as well as sole custody of their 17-year-old daughter, Stella.

The pair battled breakup rumors for years, but managed to stick it out for nearly two decades. Some of the couple's issues were tied to Griffith's addictions. Banderas previously told AARP magazine, "We have had as many problems as anybody. We've never hidden it. We've been open about addictions, in the case of Melanie. She has overcome her problems beautifully. I didn’t know she was so strong. It makes me love her even more, because she has been an unbelievable lion fighting, and she got it. The last [relapse] was three years ago, and it just welded us."

Griffith, who famously (and adorably) has "Antonio" tattooed in a heart on her arm, was previously married to Don Johnson (Dakota Johnson's father -- Griffith married and divorced him twice!) and Steve Bauer. Banderas was previously wed to Ana Leza.

Here's hoping they can tough it out, because, well, we sort of love them together. Maybe some Fifty Shades could reignite the flame!

In other surprising news, Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan, admitted he's insecure about his body. Keep in mind: Jamie Dornan was an underwear model once dubbed "The Golden Torso!"

"I don't like my physique. Who does? I was a skinny guy growing up, and I still feel like that same skinny kid," he told Interview magazine.

Dornan added that playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie made him happier getting dressed up. "I think there was so much more to Christian that we covered – someone who is careful to keep himself in shape, someone who spends obscene amounts of money on presenting himself. I don't have an opportunity to wear a suit very often, and this is a guy who lives in a suit. When you end up in a suit for 80% of the filming process, you become pretty comfortable with it."

That may have to do with Christian Grey teaching Dornan the right way to walk!
