For celebrities in Hollywood, it can be extremely hard to have such a public relationship last.

There have been a few celebrity marriages that couldn't even more than a couple of days, or there have been celebrity relationships that seem to be the pinnacle of love, only for it to dissolve (think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt).

However, there are still many celebrity couples that have managed to still stand, and are seemingly getting stronger and stronger throughout the years.

Here are 20 longest celebrity marriages and relationships.

1. Dax Shepherd and Kristen Bell - Married since 2013.

Shepherd and Bell have been together since 2007, and got married in a small courthouse ceremony in 2013, according to Newsweek.

The couple share two kids together, Delta Bell Shepherd, and Lincoln Bell Shepherd.

Shepherd even shared some advice for how he's managed to keep the spark alive with Bell.

"Your lady wants to know that you're still very interested in her as a human being, that there are still questions that you haven't asked," Shepard told Ellen DeGeneres.

"Go to dinner and ask questions and spend the time as if you just met this person at a bar. That's what's exciting I think."

2. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel - Married since 2012.

Timberlake and Biel weren't always as strong of a couple as they are now.

The couple actually broke up for three months in 2011, according to Redbook, before getting back together and giving their relationship another shot.

Biel even kept an email that she had sent to her producing partner early in the relationship, saying, "I will marry this man," according to Brides.

After their wedding in 2012, Biel and Timberlake welcomed their son Silas in 2015, and in 2020 had their second child, Phineas, which was kept a secret.

3. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen - Married since 2013.

Legend and Teigen met on the set of Legend's music video for 'Stereo' in 2006, and have been together since.

Since their marriage in 2013, the couple have two adorable children, Luna Simone Stephens, and Miles Theodore Stephens.

"There are some famous couples I look at and I'm like, 'Ugh, we get it. Stop trying so hard, you're so lame.' I think people definitely think that about us," Teigen told Vanity Fair.

The pair were supposed to welcome their third child, Jack, in September 2020, but experienced a devastating miscarriage.

In an essay for Medium, Teigen opened up about the feeling of loss and grief, writing, "People say an experience like this creates a hole in your heart. A hole was certainly made, but it was filled with the love of something I loved so much. It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full."

4. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds - Married since 2012.

Probably the internet's favorite celebrity couple, Reynolds and Lively first met in 2010, while Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson, and Lively was dating 'Gossip Girl' costar, Penn Badgley.

They were in the 'Green Lantern' film together and made their debut as costars at 2010 Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center, according to US Weekly.

Eventually, Lively and Reynolds ended their respective relationships, and sparked dating rumors, leading to the couple getting married in 2012.

The couple have three daughters together, Inez, James, and Betty, according to Elle Magazine.

Lively also praised Reynolds for always being in her corner, telling Vogue in 2014, "Everything we do in life, we do together. If I’m working on a movie, he helps me with my character; I do the same with him.”

5. Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves - Married since 2012.

McConaughey and Alves have been together since 2006, and are regarded as one of of Hollywood's longest-lasting couples, according to Insider.

The couple keep a pretty low profile, living in Texas and sharing three children together.

In 2016, McConaughey shared the story of his proposal with Esquire, saying, "

"I remember hitting the knee, looking into her eyes. I remember her face. I remember this smile coming up from her feet. I remember her having to catch her breath."

"And she didn't say yes right away. And then the whole family was going, 'Jeezus, she's gonna say no.'"

6. Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen - Married since 2009.

Brady first began dating Bündchen in 2006, and from the beginning their relationship wasn't very smooth-sailing.

During their relationship, Brady's ex, actress Bridget Moynahan, became pregnant with Brady's son.

Brady told Howard Stern, according to the NY Post, “It was very hard for [Bündchen] to think she fell in love with this guy, and now this guy’s ex-girlfriend’s pregnant. And it was very challenging for my son’s mom because she didn’t envision that either.”

Bündchen also opened about that time of her life to 'CBS This Morning' in 2015, according to Page Six, saying, "I felt like I didn’t know what to do. It was one of those moments where like, do I run away? Now, eight years later, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter bonus child.”

Now, Brady and Bündchen are coming up on almost 13 years of marriage and share two children together.

After dating for quite some time, the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in 2008, with Jay-Z revealing why they chose to hide their nuptials from the public.

"I ran into my friend Kate one day and she was with this brooding, James Dean–type guy in a leather jacket who gave me the head nod and then turned away," Harris wrote.

The NBA superstar first started dating his wife back in 2002, while the pair were still teenagers, and even had their first date at Outback Steakhouse, according to Business Insider.

"I guess you could say he was a pretty good date," Brinson said in a speech at YWCA's Circle 2017. "After all, we're still going on more dates, three kids, and 15 years later."

The pair first met in the early 2000s, before marrying in 2003, and later adopting a child in 2010.

It was actually a prayer that brought Davis and Tennon together.

"I was the loneliest woman in the world, and someone said, 'You should just pray for a husband," Davis told US Weekly in 2013.

"I said I wanted a big Black man from the South who looked like a football player, who already had children, who maybe had been married before. Three and a half weeks later, I met my husband."

15. Thandiwe Newton and Ol Parker - Married since 1998.

The couple first met on the set of the BBC drama 'Your Dreams,' where Parker had written the script and Newton was the 22-year-old star, according to Evening Standard.

Fast forward to 2011, the couple ended up getting married in California a year after getting engaged, and the couple currently don't have any children and don't plan to.

In an interview with Howard Stern, Rogen told Stern that he wouldn’t be able to do “all this work” if he and wife Lauren Miller had chosen to start a family.

Damon and Barroso first met in Miami while she was working as a bartender.

The couple dated for a few yearsand then quietly got married at Manhattan’s City Hall in 2005, just a few months before the birth of their first daughter together, according to Vogue, and have had two children since.

In an interview with YourTango, Damon opened up about how he and his wife keep their romance alive.

"We have a two week rule. I'm not away for more than two weeks. I think you need to be with the person you love as much as possible. My wife is my soul mate. I don't like being apart from her," Damon shared.

18. Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford - Married since 1998.

Crawford first met her husband, Rande Gerber, at a wedding where the two instantly became friends, according to The List.

Both Crawford and Gerber had been in relationships when they met, with the supermodel being married to Richard Gere.

Eventually their respective relationships ended, and the two started dating, eventually marrying in 1998. They share two children together, who are subsequently both models, Kaia and Presley Gerber.

In an interview with US Weekly, Crawford joked about how she had met her husband while "on tequila."

"I definitely think [tequila is the secret to a happy marriage]," Crawford said. "I mean, we met on tequila!"

19. David and Victoria Beckham - Married since 1999.

Regarding as one of Britain's 'It' couples, the former member of The Spice Girls, Posh Spice had given Beckham her number back in 1997, according to US Weekly.

Funnily enough, the former footballer still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket she wrote it on.

The two got married in 1999, and share four children together.

In 2016, Victoria Beckham wrote a piece for British Vogue, letting the readers know that love at first sight really does exist.

"Yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge — although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy," she wrote.

20. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill - Married since 1996.

McGraw and Hill had first met in 1994, while backstage at the New Faces music festival in Nashville, according to CNN.

The two didn't start romantically seeing each other until they began touring together in 1996.

Hill had kissed McGraw, despite still being engaged to producer Scott Hendricks. However, the country singer immediately called the engagement off once she realized she had feelings for McGraw, according to People.

"I fought and I fought and I fought to stay away from her as long as I could," McGeaw told People. "I'm not going to go into detail, but it was a great tour, I can tell you that."
