We’ve all experienced people who just don’t respect our boundaries. They’re the ones who stand a little too close to us or talk about things we’re not comfortable with sharing. These people don’t seem to care though, because it’s all about them.
Types of boundaries include material, physical, mental, emotional, sexual, and spiritual. You may have more mental boundaries than spiritual, but that doesn’t mean you’re comfortable being questioned about your faith.
Our boundaries are as unique to us as are our personalities, and to have someone destroy them for their own purposes is painful. If you don’t respect other people’s boundaries, it has a lot to do with your personality traits that encourage this kind of behavior.
That's exactly the mindset for the zodiac signs who don't respect boundaries.
The excuse of not being aware of a boundary will only work occasionally, as most are clear or just common sense. You may not be coming from a negative place and may believe that what you’re doing is for someone's own good.
However, you don’t take the time to understand a person's reasoning for needing boundaries to begin with; instead, you walk all over them, not realizing that your disrespect could be damaging your relationship or friendship.
1. Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leos don't respect boundaries because they believe that what they're doing is for the other person's best interest. They come from a good place, even if it's a little screwed up, but Leos don't understand that by pushing their own agenda, they're over-stepping and, in the process, disrespecting the other person.
They tend to have a strong personality and can be extremely headstrong. When a Leo disrespects a boundary, they believe that since their motives were good, over time their trespasses will be forgiven.
2. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries disrespect boundaries because they're impatient and impulsive, so if they get an idea to do something, they're going to go ahead and do it. If there are any negative consequences, they'll deal with them later.
Aries tend to ignore boundaries when they're in the middle of a confrontation. They can be stubborn and arrogant, both of which cause them to disrespect boundaries and cause conflict. In the heat of the moment, Aries can be quick-tempered and cause others to respond in negative ways.
3. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Since Scorpios are extremely passionate and intense, they often have relationships that are difficult or dramatic. While they may look tough, Scorpios get just as hurt as anyone from perceived negative treatment.
When Scorpio is being reactive, they may ignore emotional, physical, and mental boundaries. They don't always fight fair when they get jealous or emotional, and may be passive-aggressive or manipulative to get what they want.
4. Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius tend to be very confident and somewhat self-centered. They disrespect boundaries by oversharing and taking over a conversation. They are honest, but not always at the appropriate time or for the right amount of time.
They'll tell people everything about their lives, even when they haven't been asked. They'll push for what they want over the needs of someone else. These individuals don't know they're being disrespectful when they push people to do things they don't want to do.
5. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus is never rash. When they make a decision, they've thought about it long and hard. However, it's difficult for Taurus to respect other people's decisions and opinions.
They are stubborn and it's hard to get them to change their mind, but that doesn't mean they're not going to insert themselves into someone else's decision-making process. Taureans are pushy, especially if they think they know what's best for you, and they won't back down even when you ask them to.
