Each craves some stimulation.

The other day, I overheard someone explaining something. They continued to stumble, searching for the right words, yet they never found them. Defeated, they admitted, "I need a better vocabulary." Someone suggested that this person read books, explaining that if you really want to learn words, go to the source where words are used best: books.
We've all hear the expression, "If you don't use it, you lose it." Well, that applies to the mind as well. The truth is, we as human beings need stimulation, physically as well as mentally. If all we do is supply our minds with the feeds found on social media, we will become incredibly dull, shallow individuals.
We need more. We need to be more than receptacles for bland information. We need to be involved, actively, in expressing ourselves as well as being open to hearing the thoughts of others.
We have to exercise our brains. There is more to life than taking selfies, believe it or not. There is more to life than speed-texting through the destroyed English language. We are rich, vast entities, with minds that are as large as the universe.
What is it the stimulates us, invigorates us, and exercises our brains, according to our zodiac sign in astrology?
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Whether they are conscious of it or not, Aries is stimulated mentally by argument. Sometimes fair, sometimes unfair, an Aries feels good when they are defending something.
They are also on fire when it comes to proving a point. They get their mental exercise through argument and analysis.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Spirituality is one of the turn-ons for Taurus, and not because of the religious aspect, but because of the mind expansion that can take place. Taurus will meditate to seek inner peace, and they know that road is a hard one to stick with.
No one ever said meditation was easy, but Taurus will meditate. They don't want to be boxed in, and meditation blows the doors off that limit.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini likes to exercise their brains through cooking, watching TV, reading books. They like spending time alone, and that's where they stock up on all the mental goodies they can take.
But when they're out and about in the social world, they like to exercise their brains by people-watching.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is big on trying everything. For the purpose of exercising their brains, they will try new things. New foods, new locations, new styles — it's all about the new discoveries for Cancer.
Fresh air and an adventure outdoors is how the typical Cancer find stimulation and mental excitement.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo is happiest when he or she is pleasing others, and to do so, they must be incredibly innovative. This works in terms of mental exercise as they have to keep you on your toes.
In order to keep your affection and attention, Leo has to think of new ways to make you smile. This is both an exercise and a pleasure for them.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo is usually so tired and fed up from everything they involve themselves in that they immediately turn to the television for distraction. What's good is that TV is excellent these days, so it's not only Lock Up that they turn to for mental kicks... or is it?
Okay, Virgo needs very little mental exercise. They're happy in their misery.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
A Libra may exercise their brain by reading books on the topics they like. Avid readers, they tend to build up great vocabularies. They do not like being bored, and they thrill to the idea of acquiring new knowledge.
The downside is that whatever knowledge they gain, they will use it to their advantage and that usually comes in the form of a lie.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio is keen on using their minds for the purpose of advancing through life. They are dead-set on educating themselves on whatever interests them, and they set up goals that they have every intention of accomplishing.
They are the least ignorant sign of the zodiac, and are always open to learning new things.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Downtime really isn't an option, mentally, for Sagittarius. These are people who use their minds nonstop.
Mental exercise is what they do, day in and day out. It's why Sagittarians have the greatest imagination of all the signs; it's their life. They live in fantasy and that kind of life is pure brain work.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns love to exercise their minds. They are the folks who play games, do crossword puzzles and other kinds of mind-benders. They love the feeling of getting it right, and often challenge themselves to do even better than the last time.
Capricorn is right at home when it comes to doing things according to the steps. They love order and precision.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Highly imaginative, you'll find Aquarians writing books, essays, or film treatments. They love to lose themselves in fiction, and they are dead serious about keeping their minds going strong.
To exercise those brains, they'll write poetry, even compete for prizes. They love to boast a high intelligence, and they work hard to stand behind their boast.
PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
At times, Pisces can go a little far into their own head, meaning they think too much. Analytical to a fault, they know when it's time to take a mental breather. When it's time to "exercise" their brains, they turn to the movies, old memories and cleaning up.
Believe it or not, when Pisces wants to exercise their mental muscles, they spend time cleaning the place up. Clean house, clean brain.
