A non-military MIA usually means a person deliberately decided to disappear from the life of the person they were dating. This kind of action doesn't provide any closure.
Going MIA from a potential relationship is a rude move. A non-military MIA tends to have very little compassion for how the person they’re ghosting is going to feel. No one enjoys being ghosted, even when we do it to someone else. It’s not a very honest or even respectful thing to do.
It’s easier to not deal with someone than it is to be an adult and let them know you’re not into pursuing things further. And if you’re just starting to see someone, it can be helpful to know about astrology.

1. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Confrontation isn't on Libra's list of fun things to do. In fact, most try to avoid confrontation as much as possible. Instead of telling someone the truth about their feelings, Libra goes MIA.
It won't take long for them to forget that person was even in their life. In Libra's mind, ghosting is almost civilized, and they think it's an easy way to get out of a relationship. They don't realize that ghosting can cause a lot of pain.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
It's easier for Taurus to go MIA than let someone know they're not into them. They can handle confrontation but they'd rather not, unless they absolutely have to. And when they have to, things can get ugly.
Taurus would rather forget the almost relationship fondly than remember any bitterness or remorse. If they don't go MIA, they may take a lot of unnecessary time to consider if they're wrong about the person, only to find out later they weren't compatible.
3. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
As great as Virgos are, there are times when they can get obsessed with finding the perfect person, so if the person they're seeing doesn't measure up and someone better comes along, Virgo goes MIA. To Virgo, that makes the most sense.
Virgo is confident that it won't take long for the other person to realize they are gone, and then they won't waste their time trying to make a relationship work that has no potential.
4. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
If Gemini is dating someone and it's not going well, they will go MIA. It's ironic that the zodiac sign who is the best at talking things out would choose not to say anything and just disappear, but that's how it goes.
Geminis don't have a lot of patience nor do they have a huge attention span, so if the person they're dating bores them or isn't a good conversationalist, Gemini isn't going to take the time to say goodbye. Besides, sometimes actions speak louder than words.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
If Sagittarius doesn't feel as if the person they're seeing is fully engaged and isn't making enough of an attempt to get to know them, they will go MIA. Basically, they're ghosting as a pre-emptive strike.
They don't want to be ghosted, so they're going to ghost first. In addition, Sagittarians are known for being blunt, so it's much better for them to disappear rather than say something insensitive and unkind.
